POLL: Do YOU wish someone would ‘just make Brexit stop’?

Last Updated: February 13, 2018By

Layla Moran in Parliament.

Liberal Democrat MP Layla Moran reckons British people are turning against Brexit, and want the whole thing to go away.

You can read her comments in the Evening Standard story linked below.

They provide the perfect opportunity for a poll, with a simple question:

Most people in Britain are quietly wishing someone would just make Brexit stop, according to a Liberal Democrat MP.

Layla Moran argued that “most of the population” now wished Brexit could be halted, claiming that is “doable”.

The remarks by the Oxford West and Abingdon MP, elected to the Commons in June, come after Conservative MP Anna Soubry said the British public have more power to stop Brexit than MPs.

I am insulted as a Labour leave supporter, but then the right wing remain Tory in chief lied to try to keep us in then ran away when the traditional labour supporting areas voted leave.

The traditional Labour-supporting areas DIDN’T vote leave.

If it means thwarting the likes of Mogg, IDS, Gove, Johnson, Farage, Banks, Cambridge Analytica et al then I would happily call an end to it right now. However, either side of the Brexit debate we will lose purely because we have sociopaths in government.

There isn’t a ‘don’t know’ box in the survey! I might tick that!
I didn’t vote for so called ‘Brexit” but I’m loving it because it is making such fools of already very foolish tory ministers. I’d like to see it go on just long enough to totally destroy the Conservative Party reducing it to rubble and ashes, dust and haze: just a distant memory: never again to raise its very, very ugly head.

Article 50 needs to stop we should just leave after all the eu has made it abundantly clear we are only a cash cow. It’s quite simple Cameron showed you have to lie to pretend remain was a good idea, he failed but some people think he is some sort of a messiah.

So someone from a party that nearly got wiped out because of its anti democratic anti British pro eu stance has not learned that the people generally do not agree with her.

Strange, because I’ve had more than 4,000 votes so far.
It must be a problem at your end. Clear your cache?

For me 52% voted leave. So we are leaving. That’s what referendums are about ——– giving the public a chance to make a difficult decision. I doubt they ever end happily.
