Boom!

Lawyers acting for Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn have reportedly written to Tory MP Ben Bradley to demand the MP for Mansfield makes a full apology for a ‘libelous tweet’ he posted about Mr Corbyn on Monday.

The demands come after the Tory MP was forced to delete a tweet which wrongly stated that Mr Corbyn had ‘sold British secrets to communist spies’.

And now Mr Corbyn’s lawyers are demanding Bradley make a full apology and a donation to a charity of Mr Corbyn’s choice.

The four demands made on the letter sent by Corbyn’s lawyers demand that Mr Bradley:

  • confirms in writing that the defamatory statement will not be repeated in any form
  • tweets an apology and asks followers to retweet it
  • makes a donation to a charity of Jeremy Corbyn’s choice in lieu of damages
  • pays Jeremy Corbyn’s legal costs.

Political activist and Guardian columnist Owen Jones has already urged the Labour leader to give any proceeds to a foodbank in the Tory MP’s constituency of Mansfield.

Quite right too. Idiots like Bradshaw need to be taught a lesson through the Courts to dissuade other of his ilk from doing the same.

Please also note that Bradley owes £50 – in addition – to a Charity of HIS choice, after we threw at him one of our “£50 Truth Challenges” on the day, which actually kicked off the whole saga. Who knew that the story would grow so momentous :-)

Bradley should be sued through the courts and an example made of this corrupt Tory liar.
