Horrific ‘Punish a Muslim Day’ letters offer rewards for throwing acid

The letters incite violence against Muslims and have been reported to police [Image: Rowaida Abdelaziz / Twitter].

Has British society really fallen this far?

Once we led the way in promoting equity and equality among everybody, no matter what their sex, race, religion or other distinguishing features.

(Actually, this is not saying much. Look at the fact that, despite more than 40 years of equal pay legislation, women are still routinely paid less than men for the same work.)

Now we get letters like this, ‘othering’ our neighbours and encouraging us to commit crimes of violence against them.

I saw a tweet about this, only today:

Will people follow the instructions?

Sadly, if they think they can get away with it, I’m sure the answer will be “yes” in more than one instance.

So it is vitally important that, if you discover these letters are being delivered in your area, you report it to the police.

Even if you hate the police.

Sick leaflets calling for Muslims to be ‘butchered’ in a day of hate have sparked a police probe after they were posted through doors across Britain.

The disgusting propaganda advertises ‘Punish a Muslim Day’ next month, encouraging torture, acid attacks, arson of mosques and assault.

The Metropolitan Police are among the forces investigating the leaflets, which have been reported in London, the Midlands and West Yorkshire.

Anti-racism groups have voiced their horror at the leaflets, which direct anyone with questions to the HM Courts & Tribunals Service, and urged anyone who receives one to pass it to police.

    OH GOD!!

There is always someone encouraging someone to do extreme disgusting violence in the name of something

What have we come to when we endorse throwing acid into someone’s face, or bleach?

What have we come to when extreme class war and socialists want to Molotov a policeman or a person’s building, business or home – with them in it

What have we become when every turn on video is extreme violence and sexual assault of women and children and most vulnerable (there is a cult in watching sex and rape and gangbanging of disabled, comatosed patients and mentally handicapped.

    WHAT HAVE WE BECOME?

And how come some sections of society can remember and uphold strong ethical and social values and are horrified and the others cannot and have no boundaries and embrace such eagerly?

This is reminiscent of Nazi Germany in the early 1930s. Hopefully these odious letters will be thoroughly investigated and the loathsome and evil perpetrators brought to justice.

The thing is that acid attacks are a growing problem, the people who are carrying them out appear to be in one group, it is not an uncommon response to say let them have some of their own medicine in areas such as this, fortunately it is more often rhetorical rather than practical. You missed the part about being told to hate leave voters and the remain voters joking in with their hate.

There’s a part about being told to hate Leave voters?
That seems contradictory. Are you sure you didn’t imagine it?
