Another demo against alleged Labour anti-Semitism. Who’ll bother to go?

Gideon Falter: Let’s hope he gets the right message.

The Daily Mirror may have been over-optimistic in its claim that “hundreds” of protesters will gather outside Labour HQ tomorrow.

In fact, it seems unlikely that hundreds of people still believe the Labour Party isn’t doing its utmost to eradicate anti-Semitism.

One person who claims to believe that is Gideon Falter, chairman of the Campaign Against Antisemitism, which is organising the latest attack on the Labour leadership.

Mr Falter seems to have ignored his organisation’s own research, which states – doesn’t it? – that anti-Semitism in the Labour Party has fallen since Jeremy Corbyn took over as leader. There is more in the Conservative Party, and in the UK as a whole.

Ah, but the Campaign Against Antisemitism has lots of Conservative supporters, hasn’t it? In fact, considering how partisan the organisation seems to be, it is amazing it still has charity status. Perhaps the Charity Commission can explain whether or why this organisation is getting preferential treatment?

In defiance of the facts, Mr Falter said, according to the Mirror: “Under Jeremy Corbyn, Labour has become a safe haven for racists.” Where’s his evidence?

“He is at home amongst them, having spent his political career seeking out and giving succour to Holocaust deniers, genocidal anti-Semitic terrorist groups and a litany of Jew-haters.” Jeremy Corbyn? A man who has fought racism of all kinds throughout his life?

“Labour must lead by example and show that Jeremy Corbyn is bound by the same rules as Leader as he was as a backbencher, by investigating the disciplinary complaint we have filed against him for bringing the party into disrepute.”

In fact I agree with part of that last comment. This Writer has filed complaints against MPs Wes Streeting and Anna Turley, who commented publicly and inappropriately on my own case; John Mann, who referred to my case in newspaper reports (again inappropriately); and John Woodcock, who referred to the left-wing organisation Jewdas in an anti-Semitic way. The first three complaints were summarily dismissed for no good reason; the last is with the Labour Whips’ office. If an ordinary member like myself had been accused, no doubt a swift suspension would have followed. But this is the party in which everybody is supposedly equal.

I’m sure Mr Falter would agree that these cases need to be investigated as well – even though all those about whom I complained support his point of view.

No?

Whyever not?

It will be interesting to see how many people do turn up.

Let’s hope it sends a message that Campaign Against Antisemitism – and its hysterical chairperson – needs to hear.

Hundreds of protesters are set to demonstrate outside Labour headquarters on Sunday against what they say is the party’s failure to tackle anti-Semitism.

Activists will call on Labour’s hierarchy to “hold Jeremy Corbyn to account” amid renewed claims he is not doing enough to root out anti-Jewish hate in its ranks.

The Campaign Against Anti-Semitism, which is organising tomorrow’s rally, is angry its complaint about Mr Corbyn to Labour’s new general secretary, Jennie Formby, was dismissed.

Antisemitism is used at the mere criticism of Israel and their violation of Human Rights, or people who question the Holocaust, why?
People need to know things about the Holocaust, to find out for themselves, they aren’t denying it happened, but as we’ve found since, the numbers didn’t add up and have now been changed, to reflect the ‘truth’. Not 6m Jews, not 4.5m Jews, but 1,5m people.
Ken Livingstone was verbally attacked in a Parliament side room, he was accused of being antisemitic, because he linked Zionists to Hitler, he was repeating an historic fact. David Gurion in 1933, asked Hitler to transfer [The Transfer Agreement] all Jews back to Palestine, but not all wanted to go.
Now, it was not long after this that labour camps started to spring up in Germany, were they built by Zionists, for the Jews who wouldn’t go, or Hitler, for an upcoming war he had no idea about?

Oh dear, you’ve mashed a few bits of information badly.
The Holocaust killed 17 million people, of whom six million were Jewish. I don’t know where you found 1.5 million.
The Federation of German Zionists asked the Nazi Government for help with a plan to transfer Jews back to Palestine. The Nazis agreed because they knew it would improve their profile internationally. The number who went was restricted to around 60,000 because only those who could afford it could go. Hitler didn’t approve until the late 1930s.
The accusation against Ken Livingstone is that he said Hitler was a Zionist. He never did.
