Are the London Tories still planning to break from the main party ahead of electoral annihilation, or what?

Hey, everybody, what happened about this?

Do you think they’re still planning to break away and pretend they’re somebody else? All things considered, that might be a good idea.

Or, have they decided to shut up because another blow to the main Conservative Party could finish them off as any kind of electoral force at all?

I think the latter.

Tories are selfish. The breakaways were probably only planning to split for a little while, in order to fool people into thinking they were voting for someone else while Conservatism was seen as toxic.

But now, it’s “all hands on deck” to bail out what is metaphorically, let’s face it, a sinking ship.

And it’s all due to another ship:

The Empire Windrush.

The Conservatives in London have reportedly held secret discussions about a potential breakaway from the national party, amid fears of an electoral wipeout in the local elections next month.

Absolutely no idea Mike, I live in Yorkshire and have only ever visited London once in my life, and I’m not a Tory. The goings on in London are a world away from life on the dole in Northern England.

wow you hit on a good idea without realising it, the goings on in London are a world away from everything, so what a idea we create a wall around Westminster, 700 MP’s governing themselves with there advisors, give them rations, maybe the odd occasional parcel from a food bank and what have we got a better place

The Tories in Scotland now only put “Conservative” on their leaflets in the smallest type possible. They seem to now be The Ruth Davidson Party for No Divisive Second Independence Referendum. Which title conveniently covers their sole policy position – other than, of course, that the SNP is very Baad.

There is a history of switching Parties when things get difficult over in Thanet. There, a variety of UKIP members have swapped into being Tories, or Independents or , even, back to UKIP if one Party or other proves too toxic. The last time I looked , it seems that Right-Wing head-cases calling themselves Tories had a slim majority but it could change any day soon. Not by local elections, but by anti-Labour councillors staying exactly where they are politically, but changing their Party names. The important point is that the POLICIES and ATTITUDES don’t change at all. This kind of strategy might be appealing to London Tories as a way of dodging the flak aimed at May and Co.

another tory party how about lying conservatives, the saving they make, they would not have to tell the world there strong and stable, they could lie, backed up with there pretty red bus full of two faced liars, personally I think it is better to just see them lose there deposits and as for strong and stable try pathetic, that sounds better
