Will Theresa May face a Parliamentary probe for lying about Novichok?

Last Updated: June 2, 2018By

My bet is, no she won’t.

Parliament – and the mainstream media – have a selective sensory impairment on this subject.

Rank has its privileges, it seems.

But the information is out and Mrs May’s claims about the origin of the substance used to poison the Skripals are worthless.

And any further unevidenced claims against Russia are likely to be treated with extreme scepticism by the British public after this fiasco.

Afterthought: I like the following tweet by Roger Gall, which shows exactly the kind of evasion we can expect from Mrs May on this issue:

British Prime Minister Theresa May faces a possible Parliamentary probe for misleading MPs about the source of the nerve agent allegedly used to poison the Skripals.

A sample of Novichok, the nerve agent British authorities believe was used, was obtained by German intelligence back in the 1990’s, according to local reports.

Rt.com reports: Western countries, including the US and the UK, have long been aware of the chemical makeup of the nerve agent known as Novichok, a group of German media outlets reported following a joint investigation.

The inquiry, based on anonymous sources, gives new insights into the issue of the nerve agent said to have been used in the poisoning of former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury, UK, in March.

Yes very strange after her quick knee jerk analysis of the situation, led by her ever loyal goons, sucking in many other European states into her quicky analysis blaming Russia for everything. Wrong, who me? Her 5 mins of fame and cow tailing to the US demands for anything anti Russian in their hour of need now needs to be truthfully revealed to us all. An admission that she may have lied to us and half of Europe along with a much needed grovelling apology to Russia for her false narrative and fake news. The whole farce does not serve the UK and its citizens well which she needs constantly reminded that she is the leader of the UK…. not a globalist patsy playing to US favours for future good trade deals…..dream on.
