If the new Brexit secretary is Dominic Raab, then nothing has changed. Where have we heard that before?

Dominic Raab: There is nothing at all behind that vacant smile.

So Dominic Raab – once labelled one of the laziest MPs in Parliament – has replaced David Davis as Brexit Secretary.

After he co-wrote a book complaining that the UK’s workforce were among the world’s worst idlers it was revealed that his own Parliamentary attendance record was much worse, at just 79.1 per cent.

Mr Davis, let us remember, spent only four hours in the last six months actually talking with representatives of the EU27 countries about the UK’s departure from the EU.

It seems, to quote Theresa May, “Nothing has changed!”

I think Mr is probably not as lazy as alleged: he spends a fair amount of time making money.

A lazy and self confessed not very intelligent individual is replaced by an even lazier individual. What a shambolic shower they are.

That’s as maybe but this is a disaster! This Parliament has make a complete pig’s ear of what should have been something relatively simple and cordial. Squabbling on both sides of the House and between Houses, within the Parties… My nephews, aged 5 and 8 are more sensible. If we can negotiate a decent deal, I’m Her Majesty The Queen’s cousin and will be the next Prime Minister! There doesn’t seem to be in the semblance of a clue amongst them! Britain doesn’t barter and these negotiations will fail to get us anything worthwhile.
