Hammond scaremongers about Labour spending – after his government WASTED £1 TRILLON

Phil the Bleak’s got a nerve, hasn’t he?

After his Conservative government borrowed more money than every Labour government the UK ever had, with nothing to show for it apart from ruined public services, bankrupted local authorities, thousands upon thousands of attempted suicides due to benefit cuts and sanctions – and a tripling of the income of a tiny handful of the Tory-supporting super-rich…

He’s scaremongering that Labour would waste our cash!

Look at the state of this:

For clarity: Tory profligacy with your money costs every UK household £4,375 every year.

He’s saying we would be better-off under Labour – but trying to spin it to suggest the opposite.

So he deserves the responses he has received, such as this from left-wing Twitter user Rachael Swindon: “Says the Chancellor who has played his part in adding £1 trillion to the national debt. What have we got for £1 trillion from you lot? Absolutely sod all apart from hardship and destitution. You’ve been rumbled, Phil.”

Absolutely. Phil the Bleak – and his whole economically-illiterate government – has been well and truly rumbled.

    just shows how our education system has failed;
    We learn by simple rote – leads to an ignorant population;
    We don’t even trust in ordinary common sense any more;
    Just repeat what our “betters” tell us while we huddle afraid.

    Beneath his grey and nondescript exterior Hammond is just another extremely nasty Tory.

    This whole notion that the Government can be short of money is a red herring anyway. The Government issues the currency unlike Eurozone countries that don’t have their own currency.

    Those figures Hammond quotes are meaningless projections based on scaremongering. What he really means is: ‘Labour will bring our party to an end and we won’t be able to make money hand over fist from ripping off the public with high housing costs and low wages anymore.’

    But Hammond wouldn’t say that, would he?

    “Last time” you could tell there was a fiendish plan afoot when “The Sun” recommended we all vote Labour! the plot was set up in the USA, and the crash in the USA began in 2008. The rat that owns “The Sun” is also a political activist in the US. The “Money for the rich” who actually believe their greed created the riches, will never accept that the workers sheer hard word was the prime wealth creator, means that they have lived their selfish lives for hundreds of years!

    As Chancellor, Hammond understated the cost of HS2 by a mere £20,000,000,000. This error is approximately 200 times the size of an error made by Diane Abbott which received far more publicity.

    Yup they keep regurgitating the same mantra ie what we inherited. Sorry mister bean counter you need to go back to primary school as your debt is the most wasteful so called investment probably in political history. Main investment was propping up the continuation of gamblers in the banking industry yeah that helped the main population a lot. Having this past it chancellor is not very encouraging to this Country ever getting on its feet when he cannot admit how much they have actually loaned and just on what taxpayers money has disappeared on supporting their own kind.

    Can someone explain how to reduce the National deficit from the Labour peak of £150bn a year to a more manageable figure or a GDP surplus without cutting all public spending by £250bn in one go and without increasing the National Debt ?

      Labour has been doing so for several years.
