The suffering forced on people with terminal illnesses by the Conservatives is inhuman and has to end

Terminally ill people – who had just been told they were dying – were forced to go to battle with the Department for Work and Pensions for paltry financial support,” says Drew Hendry, SNP chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Terminal Illness, and he’s right.

“The Universal Credit system also meant they had to prove their life would end within six months to access special assistance.

“There isn’t a drop of compassion on offer at the DWP – leaving thousands of terminally ill people to navigate through an inflexible and thoughtless system, at the very time they should be cherishing every moment with their loved ones.”

It will only end when we rid ourselves of this evil Tory government.

Then the spin doctors make up something about the Labour Party and/or it’s members and thousands of people say “Well, we can’t vote Labour!” so perhaps, we get exactly what these evil devils of the far right give us!

I can’t imagine those poor souls who have been told they just have x amount of months to live & then trying to get benefits which they have paid for & entitled to..
The DWP is not fit for purpose as it is now . .
What are they supposed to do? get a postdated death certificate or something??
    Sickening . . .

When tens of thousands of disabled people are dying within 6 weeks of losing their money (Freedom of information figures) then surely this is manslaughter? I remember a prominent figure saying that governments and countries are judged on their treatment of the vulnerable, where the hell must the U.K. be? Children starving, elderly with no care,no mental health care? Thousands of homeless,1.4m on zero hours! In a bottomless pit is the answer!

There must be an urgent inquiry into the whole sale man slaughter of vulnerable and terminally ill. I know they changed the law over the last few years. Stopping MPs from being prosecuted over government policy. But these ministers should be tried for crimes against humanity. They have killed more people by stealth than in the whole of the twelve years the nazi where in power.
