Have Tory entryists been fuelling the Labour ‘anti-Semitism’ row?

Entryists: Many self-confessed Conservatives claimed they would join Labour to support Jeremy Corbyn back in 2016, in the belief that he would be bad for the party. What have they been doing since then?

Here’s a disturbing thought:

Back in 2016, when Jeremy Corbyn was forced to defend his position as leader of the Labour Party and win a second election, there was a huge amount of talk by supporters of the Conservative Party that they were going to use the cheap, £3 membership fee to become party members and vote for him – in the belief that he would lead Labour to ruin.

He did become leader – although whether that was with the help of these entryists, I don’t know. My recollection is that then-general secretary Iain McNicol banned anybody who had joined the party after a certain date from voting, in a panic that the result would be an even bigger landslide for Mr Corbyn than it eventually was.

Put yourself in the position of a Tory entryist. Having become a Labour Party member (and, presumably, eluded checks intended to ensure that fakes like them were not allowed access), how would you go about undermining it – considering the fact that there was a row brewing over half-baked claims of anti-Semitism in the party, stoked by ‘moderate’ (right-wing) Labour MPs who still wanted to remove Mr Corbyn and by members of organisations that disliked the Labour leader’s support for a peaceful solution to the Israel/Palestine question?

Considering the above, I wonder how many of the anti-Semitism cases that have been upheld by Labour’s compliance unit involved Tory entryists?

It’s just a thought, I know.

But it should disturb every Labour Party member.

I think enough should just about be enough! The Labour party membership rose in huge numbers as people began to realize that Jeremy Corbyn was exactly who they needed to get away from a political system that both in membership and morals, supported the self empowering mob who believe that money should go to money and that the rest of the population should be slaves to that creed. It is time that our party unified and got behind our leader. Anyone who does not support that should be disqualified if they were voted into office as a labour party MP. They accepted that when they stood for election and, at least for this parliaments’ term, must give that support. Failure to uphold what they stood as a candidate for should mean, at the end of their term, permanent removal from standing as a candidate for parliament no matter which party they pretend to support. What is more, they should also show strong political strength in the house their people elected them to!

The one thing Tories do not like doing is spending money, specially on Labour, and so I would imagine that after joining in 2016, they would have had to regularise their membership and pay monthly subs soon after or be de-registered? Surely those £3 ‘members’ are not still in the Party are they?

On a separate note I would sincerely hope they are not still members. I joined in early 2015 and have been paying my subs monthly since then despite not having any income. I would be pretty cross if some people had not been paying subs.

What always puzzles me is how those who threaten Labour MPs for allegedly departing from some line, always seem to preface their lurid remarks with ‘I’m a supporter of Jeremy Cofbyn’. Couldn’t be anything to do with getting a link between a violent threat and our pacific leader, could it? Or am I just unnaturally cynical?
