Who’s spreading the lie that voting for the Brexit Party in the EU elections will actually make Brexit happen?

The stupidity of this is staggering:

It seems Nigel Farage’s new Brexit Party is flying high in the polls because of a falsehood.

Pollsters are showing the Brexit Party enjoying 30 per cent of the expected vote – more than any other single party.

But it also seems these people have been told voting for the Brexit Party to represent them in the European Parliament will help bring about a “no deal” Brexit.

It won’t – the manner in which the UK leaves the EU will be decided by the UK Parliament in Westminster, not a tiny minority of the EU Parliament in Brussels.

Who’s been telling people this nonsense?

It couldn’t be Mr Farage himself, could it?

Let’s face it, he’s not the man of the people he says he is. Consider:

Why would anyone vote for a party who’s avowed intent and sole purpose to exist is to piss-off our major trading partners, are people in the UK really that stupid. What on earth do they hope to achieve.

Why would anybody deliberately stay in an abusive relationship which anyone who watched Brexit beyond closed doors can no longer doubt, 7% of out trade is with the Eu it isn’t the massively important market that the easily fooled believe.

Steve I can assure you that your claim that the avowed intent and sole purpose to exist of the Brexit party is to piss-off our major trading partners is wrong.
Of course the EU will be pissed off by them but the Brexit party’s single raison d’être is in fact to ensure that the democratic process is carried through and that means leaving the EU.

Which version of brexit would that be? The one Farage was advocating before the 2016 referendum or the one that one that he is claiming to have a mandate for now.

The same will happen if you vote Labour or Conservative.

Farage and his equally toxic ilk are poisoning British politics.

Maybe adding to the poison but they can’t take all of the credit.

The Brexit party is flying high in the pre EU election polls because the majority of the British electorate wish for Brexit to be implemented and WILL be voting for the Brexit party. Not because of any “lie” that a vote for the Brexit party in the EU elections will in itself deliver Brexit. I think you make the same mistake as many on the Remain side and that is to assume, once again, that the Leavers didn’t and don’t know what they are voting for. Let me assure you that we knew and indeed know, exactly what we are voting for. These poll results seem to have come as a surprise to the media. They are of no surprise to Leavers who have watched closely the recent emergence of the Brexit party and through our many pro Brexit groups have discussed and formulated voting strategy. The overwhelming success in these elections that is certain for the Brexit party in most regions with the obvious exception of London will serve to reinforce the fact that Leave is still the view held by the majority. In fact, much more than that, it demonstrates a huge shift towards a “no deal” exit.
So, rather than voting on the strength of a lie as you claim, we will be voting to send yet another statement to Parliament and for that reason alone.
Of course there will be the added bonus that any Brexit minded MEP’s elected will cause disruption in the EP, something the EU has openly stated is an undesirable situation. We also understand that no British veto in the EP to date has been successful, but that is not the point. Can you imagine the effect in the EP with a whole army of Nigel Farages?
It is now also known that the Brexit party will be standing candidates for every seat at the next General Election. It does not take much imagination to understand what might happen here with the Brexit party carrying forward massive momentum gained from the certain EU election results.
There is also much talk about whether the issue is no longer about Brexit but about Democracy. It is about both. Parliament and I use the term deliberately as opposed to Government, has failed or refused to deliver Brexit (as Democratically voted for and won). In efforts to frustrate Brexit, Parliament has embarrassed itself and cast an ugly shadow over our political system.
This shambles need not worry because at a point no later than 2022, a record will be set for the highest number of MP’s not to be returned. (This is my opinion and unchecked and I happily defer to any historical contradiction)
So if Brexit and by Brexit I mean a very “hard Brexit” is not delivered soon, both main parties will feel the effects caused by their combined ineptitude. The current perception that MP’s are completely failing to deliver on the referendum result and indeed treating the public with contempt cannot be overstated.
So your claim that the manner in which the UK leaves the EU will be decided by the UK Parliament in Westminster will most likely prove incorrect. It will undoubtedly, one way or another, be decided by the British electorate.

Always nice to smell Federast fear in the morning when I read the latest nonsense from their camp.

Nobody claims that voting for The Brexit Party will lead automatically to the Brexit that we voted for three years ago, and which Westminster is denying us. What we hope is that it puts the frighteners on the gang of troughers who sit in the Commons so that they then vote it through in the hope of keeping their snouts in the trough.

I think the purpose of the Brexit Party is to split the pro-Brexit vote from Labour in the EU elections so they’ll know which Labour seats are vulnerable in a General Election. They don’t have to wipe Corbyn out to stop him forming a majority government; taking just thirty to forty seats should do it. As a minority government with up to eighty Blairite backstabbers and a coalition against him his socialist reforms would be defeated.

here we go again. weird how farage kept himself on a very low profile since his last lot of lies leading to a leave result for Brexit. all of a sudden hes come out of hiding and telling more porkies. the mans a danger to us all and politics in particuler. hes another clown like boris. is he still a EUrep fior us? cos he did practically nothing for britain up to now. in fact as jeane claude junker once said….he was never there. but was paid £100s for doing absolutely nothing.
