Seven days left to donate to Mike’s libel fund!

There’s not long left now.

The CrowdJustice appeal for funds to help me defend myself against false accusations of libel by Rachel Riley and Tracy Ann Oberman will end in seven days and only a little more than half the “stretch” target has been raised.

If you haven’t donated already, please stump up what you can, to prevent these wealthy individuals from having their way in court. The justice system is skewed in favour of the wealthy, and they are counting on that.

In fact, neither I nor my solicitors have heard from the complainants in some time. Have they given up? Or are they just waiting to see how much my appeal raises, before deciding whether it is worth their while to take this any further?

I like to hope for the former – but I must plan for the latter.

I cannot stress enough how important it is that this case is won. Nobody should be able to think that they can have their way in court because their riches mean they can stamp all over the facts.

It is possible to hit the target. All that’s needed is the will to do it.

Please stand up for justice. Please donate.

And please share this with your friends.

If you haven’t done so already, please email five of your friends, asking them to pledge to this case.

You could also post a link to Facebook, asking your friends to pledge. The address is

If you’re on Twitter, you could tweet in support, quoting the address of the appeal.

If you don’t help, then wealth may win – again. If you do, there’s a fighting chance that justice will triumph after all.

I’ll be posting updates daily if I can, so you can see how the appeal is getting on.

Have YOU donated to my crowdfunding appeal, raising funds to fight false libel claims by TV celebrities who should know better? These court cases cost a lot of money so every penny will help ensure that wealth doesn’t beat justice.

Mike, what will you do with the money if Riley/Oberman throw in the towel? (Which we hope they do, of course).

CrowdJustice has rules about this. Anyone who donated more than £1,000 can claim it back. The rest goes either to a charity that funds court cases or to another CrowdJustice cause of my choice. I’d leave it to the charity, I think.

Bear in mind that my solicitors have already drawn down more than £10,000 of the sum raised.
