Firebombers target charity boss in ‘politically-motivated’, possibly ‘racist’ attack

This is abominable.

If anybody – in Torbay or elsewhere – has information about the people responsible for firebombing Humanity Torbay boss Ellie Waugh’s car, endangering her house and the lives of her and her family in the process, in what she has been told may have been a politically- and racially-motived attack, please tell the police.

It isn’t righteous. It certainly isn’t funny.

It is psychotic.

See for yourself:

I urge everybody reading this to show your support for Ms Waugh and for her charity. She stands up for the vulnerable and downtrodden in her town and deserves the best treatment – not this.

Have YOU donated to my crowdfunding appeal, raising funds to fight false libel claims by TV celebrities who should know better? These court cases cost a lot of money so every penny will help ensure that wealth doesn’t beat justice.

Sick. In a supposedly civilised modern 1st world country?!!?!
I hope the culprit is caught quickly and is dealt with to the fullest extent of the law. Someone knows who is responsible, and is making hi n themselves an accessory until they make that call, imo.
We need more people like Ellie who lend their voice to the voiceless and vulnerable.

Not being funny or argumentative, Mike, but if you google ‘Ellie Waugh humanity Torbay’ the resulting links aren’t what you’d call ‘complimentary’.

Even you yourself have written about Waugh & the charity in what we shall label: ‘an unfavourable light’.

That said, firebombing her car and almost torching her home is not on, neither.

Why do you suggest that article is unfavourable?

I feel this a sinister development, of escalating political violence against those standing against the wrecking of austerity.

Lets hope they catch the criminal quickly.
