Still think the Queen had no choice but to prorogue Parliament? Think again!

The Queen: It seems she has failed to do her duty in the most unacceptable way.

Craig Murray’s aim is not the same as mine in this – he’s after Scottish Independence and I think the countries of the UK are still better together – but he makes excellent points in his article (link below).

He says the Queen was wrong to appoint Boris Johnson as prime minister because her duty is to appoint whoever can demonstrated that they have the support of the Commons – and he has not done so.

Now, in proroguing Parliament for him, she is offering him the chance to delay the moment when we find out he can’t muster up that support.

This is because his flagship policy is “no deal” Brexit – and Parliament has rejected this policy, time and time again.

The course of the Queen’s actions suggests a specific plan – one which puts her in an extremely questionable position.

The Queen has appointed a Prime Minister who does not have the support of the House of Commons and then has conspired to prevent the House of Commons from obstructing her Prime Minister. That is not the action of a politically neutral monarchy.

Whatever happens in the future, this should end the role of the monarchy as it is currently described.

Did he not have the support of his Party? With the D.U.P., he had a majority. Was this not the case? If it was then, he majority support in Parliament, did he not? I’m not asserting, I’m merely asking. Surely, if what Craig says is indeed and in fact true, a General Election should have been triggered immediately, no? Why did none of the Parliamentarians make this point? Do we know of any Parliamentary scholars who can clarify this? We know that a General Election is not required but if Mr. Johnson really did not have the support of the majority of M.P.s in the House, surely one would have to have been called.

No, he doesn’t have the support of enough of his party to claim a majority. Your trust in the integrity of the Tories is heartwarming.

Obviously Boris had the majority of support within the Tory Party otherwise he would not of won the leadership battle. However, the Tories only have a slim majority in Parliament thanks to the DUP’s commitment to vote along with the Tories. This arrangement allegedly will cost the tax payer approximately £1b if the Government’s promised spending on the DUP’s projects goes ahead. Surely buying votes in this way should be illegal? Therefore Boris probably has less than 25% of MPs on his side in Parliament as a whole.
However I strongly believe that the UK will be far better off with a No Deal Brexit as we need full control returned to the UK in order to arrange trade in new markets and separate us from the failing EU Super State before we become liable for Deutscher Bank’s trillions of Derivatives liabilities etc. No doubt that £39B is just to maintain the EU elite’s pensions and lavish expenses. This would explain why the May’s WA included a free Get Out Of Jail pass for all EU officers found to have committed fraud etc. Corruption and no annual accounts are EU norms. Why would so many of our MPs want to remain in this cesspit?
