Who are the Labour MPs using ‘Remain’ to undermine Corbyn?
Undaunted: He’s got a sheer wall to climb but that has not stopped Jeremy Corbyn in the past.
Skwawkbox is carrying an interesting story about Jeremy Corbyn’s bid today (September 17) to persuade Labour’s NEC to back his course on Brexit.
The interesting bit is here:
Certain figures on the left – some more obvious than others – have been continually pressing for Labour to abandon its 2017 promise and go ‘full remain’. Those same figures – like the vacuous LibDems – were previously pressing for a referendum, but now Corbyn has agreed to one they are moving the goalposts further.
My question is this:
Which figures on the left?
It’s long past time we started naming names, so that those of us with an interest in these matters can keep a close watch on these individuals and examine their motives.
Are they genuine? Or are these just political manipulators, after their own profit at the expense of the nation?

Keir Starmer, Emily Thornberry, Tom Watson, that prat Adonis, some of the shadow cabinet, and the usual suspects, such as Wes Streeting. You know this.
I have said, many times, that there are parties who are imposing their idea of thins onto us (projecting?) based on their own fears and ambitions. Since the Referendum, how much serious debate has there been about our membership of the European Union? How much serious scrutiny? All that we hear from Remainers is hyperbole and end of the world prophecies, much like what we heard during the Referendum Campaign. Why are we being browbeaten, rather than persuaded with sound argument, despite the fact that the time for that was during the Campaign? how many people know what staying in the E.U. would actually mean? We hear a great deal about the economy but I have read things that suggest that over the last 20 years, there has been no significant economic advantage to membership. If this is true, this is significant and these are things which ought to be investigated, properly, rather than simply cries from the Prophets Of Doom.
We all voted for differing and different reasons but we are owed, surely, fact, as was requested during the Campaign, rather than supposition, hyperbole and people’s personal fears. Would David Cameron’s negotiated settlement still be available? Would we, or M.P.s want that? Given that there is no status quo, would we want what is to come, or would we wish to renegotiate a settlement? None of these has been proffered. Right now, the choice to remain is just as uncertain as the choice to leave. I always ask, when people are so vociferous, what is in it for them? Given that nobody on the Remain side of the argument has explained what we would be remaining in, that question looms large.
The Referendum Campaign was devoid of fact and the aftermath and continued effort to overturn the result of said Referendum is no more, as far as I can see, abundant in the same.
We could name them all I am sure. We know the very worst of them and the “closet” ones. Biggest problem for any Labour govt led by Corbyn are these Blairite relics. Time for them to all be shown the door.
