If you don’t watch anything else today, watch Stephen Fry’s video, busting Boris Johnson’s Brexit

Remember “duper’s delight”? Stephen Fry’s new video shows how Boris Johnson – and Donald Trump – are fooling us all and laughing up their sleeves about it.

Cultural legend Stephen Fry has been making a name for himself in recent years with a series of online videos, busting the myths put about by the economic and political manipulators who (unfortunately) run our lives.

His latest takes aim at Boris Johnson and Donald Trump. In Mr Johnson’s case, he demonstrates how Brexit is an extreme risk to the economy – but we are being duped into it by a confident con-man.

It’s like the perception of businesses being successful if they have confident-sounding bosses. In fact, these people are harmful to their businesses – especially those who earn more. But politicians like Mr Johnson are keen to give them tax cuts, claiming that the money they keep will improve the economy.

In fact, these CEOs are far more likely to keep the cash for themselves and not put it to use to help their firm, their employees or the wider economy. This makes the economy more likely to crash.

Evidence shows that if workers do get the benefit – if they are given pay rises – then they work harder and the firm performs better. The example is the Ford Motor Company; Henry Ford said doubling his workers’ pay in a single stroke was the best cost-cutting measure he ever made. But Boris won’t have that.

Brexit provides huge opportunities for Boris Johnson to cut corporate taxes and create economic stability – but he’s fooling people into supporting it by presenting a confident exterior.

The message is clear: DON’T BE FOOLED! Do what you can to get rid of Boris before he crashes the economy again, devaluing your money and your job until they are worth nothing.
