Tory representatives say voters should back Boris Johnson. Why is the BBC making such a fuss?

Let’s remind ourselves of Ian Austin’s record (this image is now several years old).

Two representatives of the Conservative government have called on voters to support the Tories, with the tired line that Jeremy Corbyn is unfit to be prime minister.

The BBC and other mainstream news sources have jumped on this, as the people concerned are both former Labour MPs.

But neither Ian Austin nor John Woodcock can be described as socialists.

Mr Austin is now the Conservative trade envoy to Israel, and John Woodcock is now the Conservatives’ special government envoy to tackle violent extremism.

Both were on the Blairite wing of the Labour Party.

Mr Austin left to sit as an Independent in February, over differences with Mr Corbyn. And the Labour whip was withdrawn from Mr Woodcock in April 2018, after allegations of sexual harassment were made against him.

These are the people the media are using to undermine Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party.

It seems to This Writer that John McDonnell, challenged on the subject, was absolutely right to ask, “What else do you expect him to do?

“When you are employed by the Tories you speak on behalf of the Tories.”

What a relief.

If anybody of substantial integrity had been the mouthpieces, it might have meant something. This is just a distraction.

It’s nothing compared with Tom Watson’s slimiest of snake avatars that slithered back into high focus today – after all yesterday’s display of bonhomie towards Jeremy.
    Foul creature that he is..

No, for ONCE I think the BBC were actually right to give this a lot of coverage.

It’s one thing for either Labour or Tory to become independent or move to TIG or LibDems but to actually go across to your sworn enemy and endorse them in such a way for TWO MPs the same time is, as far as I know, unprecedented.

The pair of them have betrayed the values of a party they have backed for decades. Did they EVER believe in Labour values, were they ‘moles’? They waited until they thought they could do maximum damage and coordinated their efforts even to the extent of standing in front of an ‘attack advertisement’ whilst being filmed.

For a Tory to come to his sense and have an epiphany is one thing, but for a life long Labour supporter to go to the Tories and attack Labour values is utterly revolting. A great man once said that the Tories were “Lower than Vermin” Well, this pair are even worse, they have turned their back on those they represent and decided to sell them out..

Because of the massive importance of the Holocaust, it is essential to be very careful about making allegations of Holocaust denial:

Yes indeed – as certain newspapers that said the same of me learned to their regret.
