How many of the Bournemouth beach idiots are already giving Covid-19 to their family and friends?

Bournemouth beach: how many of these twits will have Covid-19 as a result of this day’s madness?

Half a million halfwits sitting on a beach.

Half a million halfwits sitting on a beach,

And if one of those halfwits should have Covid-19,

There’ll be half a million halfwits sitting in hospital.

It doesn’t rhyme but it gets the point across, I hope. The worst part of it is that everybody who went to Bournemouth beach on the hottest day of the year had every right to be there because Boris Johnson has been permitting visits to English beaches since the end of May.

Of course, everybody who went was supposed to adhere to the two metre distancing rule (or is it “one metre plus”, whatever that means?) and they clearly didn’t bother.

There will be a spike in Covid-19 infections. That is inevitable. I wonder if those who caught the virus during their trip will think the possibility of death, or the contraction of life-changing conditions, is a good trade-off for half a day’s suntan.

I wonder how many of the friends and family members they’ll have infected since that beach visit will feel the same.

And there’s another aspect to this.

An increase in Covid-19 infections will mean more people attending hospitals with the disease, exposing our NHS staff to further risk of infection – and Parliament – by which I mean 331 Conservative MPs – has just voted to deny weekly Covid-19 testing to doctors, nurses and support staff in the NHS.

What does that suggest to you?

To This Writer, it’s as if Boris Johnson has been lining you all up for the so-called Second Wave – and many of you got in the queue of your own accord, thinking it was for ice cream.

The excited rush to the beaches(and street parties) has been encouraged by the way the Tories and the media have been selling the idea of ending the lockdown. As if “good old Boris” was slowly giving us even more goodies because we deserve it and it is safe for us.
This is all about making Johnson look as if he is on our side, trying to help us have a better time.
The Lockdown common sense has not ,yet, been lost as I am pretty sure that millions of people , not just the older or more vulnerable, are staying away from these events and are genuinely concerned about the continuing spread. But we are becoming the “silent majority” horrified at the race towards “normality”, knowing that the virus is still out there ,half-aware that other countries have a better grasp of things, but silenced by the media cheerleaders urging yet more reckless “opening up”.

I fear that, for some people, the idea of self-isolation was never really understood. Many might insist that their older relatives stay at home while they go to work and do all the shopping, but then come home after a day out at work or in the supermarkets, bringing the virus with them and not seeing how their loved ones are getting infected when they have been “isolating at home ” all the time.
Am I alone in noting media images of mostly young and white people enjoying the sunshine ? The least affected themselves, yet so easily able to infect others.

At least (irony warning!) we have a new Labour leader able to take firm action over sacking Long-Bailey for….something or other….anti-semitic….sort-of….not nice about Israel or something….
But he doesn’t seem to be very firm with the Tories who are actually risking peoples lives! Never mind, it must be some super-clever ruse to confuse the voters into supporting the Labour Party to get elected to do …something or other…not anti-semitic…sort-of….nice about Israel or something….

Looking through the twitter feeds one with a tad more content than reaction made the point that they did vote for compulsory weekly testing as it was not necessary as any member of staff at their hospitals could have a test when ever they wanted. The issue with that is it will require voluntary discipline to do it as opposed to the proposal that staff should test compulsory for themselves, family, patients and colleagues. If a better test was freely available that would make it less a bind to do. Having tests for key workers in food production would have helped get on top of the current meat factory issues a lot earlier instead of losing the plot….how many other food manufacturers are housing this contamination without knowledge until it is to late.

What about all the illegal raves, street parties, and demonstrations?

Make a VE day type announcement, create a party atmosphere and you get parties.
Self serving attention seeker Bojob got what he asked for and now he can blame us all for the second spike !

“There’ll be half a million halfwits sitting in hospital.”………….or in a morgue.

Many swimmers (myself including myself” are longing to get back in the water. In my case as I have heart failure and can’t walk very far, swimming is the only exercise I can do. However that fat, lying slob refuses to open indoor pools despite the fact that chlorinated water together with the traces of chlorine in the air will quickly kill the coronavirus. Johnson won’t even consider the advice from Swim England.

The old bill turned up, in huge numbers, obviously contributing to the strict social distancing rules in their typical indomitable manner. No police in Bournemouth though, must have all been furloughed.

If it’s alright for Neil Ferguson and Dominic ‘Rasputin’ Cummings……

You have to remember we’re dealing with a man who on March 3rd walked out of a hospital and openly boasted about shaking hands with patients who may have covid- and then ended up being hospitalised himself a few weeks later with, erm, covid.

Bung-a-bob-Bojo is about as useful as an air conditioning unit in the North Pole.
