Three reasons Keir Starmer is a Conservative, not Labour politician

Starmer is showing his true colours.

He has provided three examples of his personal political beliefs, within a single day, that show he is a Conservative and is therefore leading the Labour Party under false pretences.

Firstly, there is his decision to return Labour to the Conservative, neoliberal economic policies of the New Labour era, that lost the party two general elections in 2010 and 2015.

Secondly,

Yes, it’s true.

Finally, his social politics is positively fascist:

The only reason I can see now for people to vote for him or the party he is defiling with his presence is, they think the only choice is between him and the Conservatives. These are the people whose argument is, “What, you think the Tories are better?”

It seems we all have to take a broader perspective.

If Labour is now the same as the Tories, we’ll have to find someone else to support.

I think there’s a bigger picture to this Mike. Keef is no leader, he is the cleaner upper/ the surgeon sent in to dissect and purge the left from the party. Blair is behind his strings. It wouldn’t surprise me if Blair makes a come back; gets a shoe-in via a safe seat (JC’s seat would be his wet dream) and goes for Labour leader due to rule changes that will no doubt come down the line excluding members from having a vote in leadership elections.

Once again…now is the time for left-wingers to unite behind the Greens, the only remaining Socialist party!

Of course, he’s cut fro the same cloth as Blair but without the charisma, or leadership qualities.

We shouldn’t forget that Blair got elected by adopting Tory economics and wooing Tory newspapers.
Once in power, he lost Labour votes with each following election until Brown took over and lost to the Tories completely.
We are urged to support Starmer to get a Labour government elected as “Tory Lite”.
    But what then?

Blair wasn’t successful in reversing the decades -long stagnation in working class wages.
He spent money on education policies that were very successful but much of this was “behind the scenes”. Many teachers still appreciate the changes he made but the voters barely noticed.
He let the City of London types do as they liked and we ended up with the Crash of 2007/2008.

What will Starmer do to show working people that their incomes and prospects will improve under Labour? And what policies does he propose to avoid another Wall St/City of London economic meltdown?
He needs to tell us or it’s going to be a miserable re-run of the past and, this time, the voters may turn to the far-Right as the “Left wing” Party will have abandoned them again!!

I see no purpose to this cult of New Labour 2.0 and there Tory-lite BS ideology as they walk away from being Labour a left-wing socialist party and are just this Blairite mess that I will never vote for or support until they grow up and remember their past true ideology.

Just because you call your self Labour but become Tory-lite might impress these idiots but you will never convince me this is anything other than an insult to all the struggles and hard work of the membership in the past.

Starmer is no Blair he is a week leader and is just destroying the electability of Labour for the next 10 years. Leaving the Tory scum or worse in charge.

I saw The Monuments Men the other day, and there’s a speech in it saying if you want to destroy the legacy of people who are no longer with us, you destroy their achievements. In that film, it meant their works of art and culture. But it can be equally used to describe their political achievements.

That is Starmer’s principal crime. He wants to destroy the achievements of Labour campaigners over the last 100 years and put working people back into the cap-in-hand servitude they suffered before World War Two.

I’m completely sick of these neo-liberals traitors! I’ll probably vote green or the workers party under George Galloway, but labour are finished and we need to boycott the news media all together, including the bbc licence.
