The Tories are running scared into the local elections – and scared Tories are DANGEROUS Tories

Face of fear: Boris Johnson’s time is running out. The local elections will show him just how short that time may be. How far is he prepared to go to hold on to power?

Enjoy this video by Richard Murphy (I did):

Yes – Tory policies are going very badly, and the propaganda machine won’t be able to hide that from the majority of us when those failures hit our quality of life.

Brexit has screwed our businesses.

Covid-19 isn’t over – there could be another wave by July (possibly fuelled by variant strains that have bred in the gap between vaccination doses).

The Conservative government is rife with corruption.

And nationalism is on the rise in Wales and Scotland, while Northern Ireland is on fire because Unionists have realised that they have been sold out by the Westminster government and their own DUP politicians who supported the Tories during Theresa May’s ministry.

What’s Boris Johnson’s response?

He’s provoking people. He’s trying to blame those who oppose as if they are the provocateurs.

Through his ‘identity politics’ process of calling out those he describes as “woke”, who he is therefore chastising for their commitment to equality on a range of grounds… he is trying to provoke [them] to attack him.

That is standard right-wing … fascist policy.

Murphy’s conclusion is accurate, too, I think:

They know that their policies are failing so all they can do is use blunt force to try to maintain their position in office.

… Like the fascists they are.

Hence the new Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill that proposes draconian new powers for the police, who are to be used as political tools, putting down any opposition to Tory dictatorship. And to ensure that these powers are exercised, what do the Tories do?

They are provoking crowds; they are seeking riots.

Because then they can point at the rioters, and at the peaceful people who agree with the reasons for rioting, and claim that they are the enemy.

Toryism is about “othering”. It is about dividing us and setting us against each other, so we fail to act against our real enemy: them.

It is encapsulated in the story about the Tory, the worker and the immigrant:

A Tory, a worker, and an immigrant are sitting at a table with 20 biscuits. The banker takes 19 biscuits, turns to the worker and says: “Watch out, that immigrant is going to take your cookie away.”

Murphy’s last point is chilling:

They’re not sure they want to go without a fight and we don’t know how tough that fight is going to be.

This Writer reckons it will be very tough.

Tories don’t mind spilling the blood of poor people. In fact, they delight in it. When they send the police to break up protest demonstrations, they see it as poor people fighting among themselves. It’s a huge jolly for them.

In the past, Tories have always known when to give up. They’ve recognised the signs and withdrawn before events escalated too far. That’s why the UK has never had a popular uprising or revolution like those in France, Russia, or China, to name a few other countries.

But the current Tory leadership isn’t like those old statespeople. Boris Johnson wants to hold on to power and will do anything to keep it.

I wonder what we’ll be prepared to do when the time comes to take it away from him.

Richard Murphy nailing it as usual.

I suppose it depends a lot on whether Johnson has the armed forces onside.

If he does it will be awful, presuming that the ordinary soldiers take orders and implement them. Given Churchill is Johnson’s hero and role model I expect to see protestors shot and killed or maimed.

As for the police they will be willing to act on behalf of the state. They are not our friends. They are not innocent police men and women “who are to be used as political tools, putting down any opposition to Tory dictatorship” they are willing participants as has been demonstrated already.

So expect a hard confrontation. A very hard confrontation.

    In hope and solidarity.

there are still too many people who have fallen down the rabbit in regards to brexit! the media have too much influence over the ordinary people who just do not follow politics and react to triggers that suit their biases! things will have to get really bad before change can happen! the sooner starmer is gone the better as the opposition can help push the agenda just like corbyn did in 2017.

Well, Tory scum might be trying to provoke riots but with underfunded police, with limited numbers, an army in very small numbers is that a great strategy yes you can suppress 1 or 2 but how about 10+ daily?

When people realise finally how disgusting these scumbags are and how they have been treating the country as their own piggy bank.

If the media turns on them the wheels come off as it’s only the consent propaganda and gaslighting of the media holding the lies together. Bho do you replace them with the cult of new Labour are Torys with a different logo same beliefs, Lib dims please, Greens give me a break this is why I keep on repeating we need a socialist party if Labour don’t want to be left wing any more fine but this country needs socialism…

I don’t have much hope of people waking up… Look what happened last time with Jeremy Corbyn. We could have had the best prime minister, and best government Britain could have wished for, but the gutter press, the English state controlled BBC, and traitors in the Labour Party convinced most people to vote against their own best interests, and voted the criminal tory cartel into office. And here we are… Thanks to the tories, and thousands of deaths later, more people on the streets, more people suffering, blatent lies, theft, fraud, corruption, social murder and corporate manslaughter, the prime minister lying to the queen and not one tory convicted, prosecuted or imprisoned, and a Labour party that has betrayed the people.

Whilst the Cons grabbed the Brexit high ground and gained to many Labour seats from so doing what this Covid situation has flushed out is just how aligned this Con Government is with the Globalist agenda. They, and their media stooges, are totally committed to achieving Globalist success not only in the UK but many other similar Western democratic countries having weak gullible Governments willing to subject their countries to financial destruction and large unemployment. The pure greed of the Cons to ensure their party donors benefit from the Covid feeding frenzy easily flushes them out for what they are. Hopefully the voting will reveal just how many have woken up to what has taken place under the Cons and the level of trust that survives for more of the same abuse of power and unnecessary dictatorship.

Beats me what they have to be scared about looking at the current opposition.

Fair comment. Voters could go to smaller parties, of course. Choosing not to vote won’t change anything.
