Loach expelled from Labour as Keir Starmer expands his witch-hunt

Last Updated: August 14, 2021By Tags: , , , , , , , , ,

Pointing the finger: after being expelled from the Labour Party, Ken Loach asserted that Keir Starmer is leading a witch-hunt and warned that Starmer and his cronies will never lead a party of the people: “We are many; they are few.”

Keir Starmer’s Labour Party has expelled legendary film-maker Ken Loach for refusing to disown fellow members who were expelled without evidence.

How ridiculous: this pillar of the Left has been unjustly expelled from Labour for insisting that people have been unjustly expelled from Labour.

The director’s I’Daniel Blake was a damning indictment of the Tory policy of persecution against the unemployed – particularly people with long-term illnesses and disabilities. Starmer’s decision to expel him may be seen as support for such policies.

He announced his removal on Twitter:

An expansion of the trumped-up Labour witch-hunt was predicted after an election in which left-wingers retained their hold on places in the party’s Conference Arrangement Committee, meaning motions hostile to Starmer and his leadership will be put to the vote when it takes place in the autumn:

Starmer’s decision to kick Loach out for refusing to join in his contrived, fake, baseless witch-hunt against socialist members of the Labour Party has already backfired in his face, with the social media making a huge show of opposition to this latest stage of the purge.

Here’s just a taste of the responses on Twitter. As I type this, more are being posted all the time:

And what of Starmer himself?

The party leader, who gained control of Labour by lying about his policies to members (he subsequently ditched all of his so-called “10 pledges” in a campaign funded by sources he still won’t name) earlier this week condemned remarks in Len McCluskey’s autobiography that Labour could “go under” – be finished as a major political party and opponent of the Conservatives – under his leadership.

He then went on to support the Conservatives in their decision to kill an apparently healthy alpaca, on the basis of two potentially-inaccurate tests made four years ago.

Anybody can see that this is a man with a serious credibility problem. And he’s storing up trouble for himself. This autumn’s conference could be the must-watch TV of the year.

So kick out all the socialist slick plan then who will be paying for your cult? Your already almost bankrupt the workers who whould get out there and get you elected were the ones you morons just kicked out and any stupid enought to remain just like the so called socialist mp’s are just appeasing you in the mad hope of voting this cult out is like a cancer it has taken over the body. Just because it’s moving it has become a zombie party yes it wears the same colour rosette but this is NOT a Labour party any more it’s Tory lite middle class cult of new Labour 2.,0 Tony Blair BS again party.

Some of us remember this BS from the first damn time and how rotten it was. It will never be a government of the people without the socialists they are the workers the promoters and door knockers. But hay ignore us and watch you lose more and more MP’s until you go the way of the damn dodo thought arrogance. Hopefully a party of socialism only will form out of the wreckage but 99% of these MP’s need not apply including these so called socialist mp’s your silence and acceptance has no place in a socialist Labour party we need people of passion who can stand up and stop the BS press games and call them out. They talk over you walk out they lie and deceive expose them. They start on anti-Semitism point out it’s a weapon not facts and expose the lies again.

But I will never again vote for a damn rosette if it’s not socialist not a name that’s what this scum wants to slime into power though our desperation to be rid of the Torys but we will only be replacing them with lesser Torys. Socialism means standing together and on this we must stand firm and stop voting for a name until we have the party that respects our ideology. Tory-lite is NOT Labour party in my book ever!

    Ken Loach

I think there needs to be more back ground given to this great man. He is now 85. I would put him along side David Hockney at 84 and Sir David Attenborough at 95.

Ken Loach is the greatest living British Film director and one of the greatest British directors. Take his work in television with the Wednesday Play. ‘Up The Junction’ 1965, had a big impact on the Abortion Act. With ‘Cathy Come Home’ 1966 exposing homelessness.

There are some many outstanding pieces of work. Here are two of my favourites:

There was the beautiful film Kes, the relationship between a young lad in Yorkshire and a kestrel in 1969, produced by Tony Garnett.

Looking For Eric 2009. Rare for Ken Loach this had a major star, Eric Cantona with Steve Evets as Eric Bishop. This was a very poignant movie but also a brilliant comedy. Eric Cantona played Eric Cantona.

And now I Daniel Blake 2016 and recently Sorry We Missed You 2019.

Ken Loach is still going strong.

Ken also improvises directly with many ordinary people to get brilliant performances, always using the local accents of these actors.

In short Ken Loach is a genius.

I have not ventured into any of the politics surrounding this. I wanted to forcibly point out what an outstanding creative director Ken Loach is.

He says it how it is always. Yes legendary!! Always true to the Labour Party!!!

Starmer? To call this man a philistine is a gross under estimate.

Ken Loach must be reinstated into the Labour Party and Starmer simply go!!
