Labour delegate explains how Ruth Smeeth gaslighted conference to support shocking rule change

Ruth Smeeth: she lied about being subjected to anti-Semitic abuse in order to get Marc Wadsworth expelled from Labour under false pretences; of COURSE she gaslighted the party conference to support rule changes that make it easier to expel other innocent people.

This speaks for itself but I’ll spell it out anyway.

Last week, delegates at the Labour conference were gaslighted by Ruth Smeeth, who demanded that they should support a rule change that will accelerate the party’s witch-hunt that targets innocent people and smears them as racists and anti-Semites.

Smeeth told the conference hall in Brighton that nobody there could vote against the change that concentrates power over disciplinary procedures in the hands of the undemocratically-elected party secretary, David Evans, and still say they were anti-racism.

In the event, the package of rule changes only passed because delegates from Unison ignored their union’s policies after a backroom meeting with Labour leaders.

The delegate in the video below says Smeeth’s speech was her lowest moment as a member of Labour.

Together with all the other Labour members, she’s got a few shocks coming to her.

After the rule changes, Labour will push them all a lot lower.

As per Labour’s legally agreed action plan the EHRC rule changes enabled a new complaints process to be set up to deal with all complaints about protected characteristics.
These changes were legally mandated by the EHRC.
The new system will come into force before the end of the year.
Thank goodness we’ll be seeing the back of the current discredited system that was used to dispose of so many high profile left wingers by the previous administration who re-wrote the rules to make the process ‘more efficient’.

The new rules were passed by a significant majority.
    Number of votes
    CLP for – 257,123 (64.74%)
    CLP, against – 140,028 (35.26%)
    Affiliate for – 1,207,016 82.53%)
    Affiliate against – 255,463 (17.47%)

After adjustment for 50/50 CLP/Affiliate Split

    Total against – 26.36%

What a shame that Labour’s leaders have repeatedly and callously disregarded their own commitments to the EHRC-mandated changes in the run-up to the vote – continually interfering in disciplinary procedures for political reasons in order to dispose of high-profile left-wingers. It was not the previous Labour administration that attacked the left, of course, it was right-wing factionalists working against that administration’s wishes.

Please at least try to get your story straight.

Surely Jennie Formby’s involvement in Chris Williamson’s case tells quite a different story.

          Why?

Ruth Smeeth was one of 5 Labour MPs, members of the Defence Select Committee, who helped the Trump administration to destroy the INF missile treaty signed in 1987.
Her behaviour was shameful and helped endanger us all. It is frightening to think that she is part of Starmer’s entourage.

Scott Ritter, former weapons inspector wrote:

“By killing the INF Treaty based on flawed intelligence, the U.S. risks global annihilation.”

How many millions did that young whippersnapper Shai mention again was it £2m or £1m and to whom did he mention it. Specific funds for something new…like stepping into the big time
