#KeirStarmer relaunches #Labour – again. He might as well have sung the Birdie Song

Keir Starmer: with nothing to say, no wonder he’s shrugging.

What a way to ruin a good party.

Keir Starmer stood next to a podium today and relaunched his version of Labour. How many times has he done this, now? Seven? Eight?

His speech contained no substance at all. As I state in the headline, he might as well have stood there and performed the Birdie Song.

In fact… well, take a look at this clip depicting what I took away from it:

Sincere apologies to The Tweets for linking their song with such a ridiculous performance.

There have been no policies, are none and will be none either. The manifesto will be released as late as possible before the GE and won’t be read by voters anyway. Voters will, as usual, make their minds up based on sound bites or ‘just being fed up with the lot running it’ This is politics being deliberately dumbed down by the leaders.

All Starmer is doing is trying to distance himself from every accusation he ever levelled at Corbyn and giving the same sort of ‘feel good’ BS as Johnson did to get elected.

He’s depending on the Tories having dealt with the Credit Crunch, launched Austerity, caused Brexit and its poorly dealt with aftermath and their poor response to COVID and, of course, the fact they’ll have been in office so long. But the only reason he’s leading just now is that Boris has made repeated unforced errors with corruption, ignoring COVID rules etc. Whilst he expects victory I could easily see the Tories having a reduced majority at the next GE – purely down to Starmer’s bad leadership..
