Whichever way you see this, it’s a huge shot in the foot for Liz Truss and her government, and a shocking failure of diplomacy. Relations with India may not recover for a considerable period of time.

Presumably Sue Ellen (her actual name) feels she was abused in some way by her parents (perhaps for calling her Sue Ellen) because she’s attacking people like her parents – migrants. She is certainly odd but she may actually be clinically criminally insane. How else to explain someone whose life ambition is to put people in peril on a plane to Rwanda?
