I’ve been trying to avoid this.

But it seems Rishi Sunak’s first party political broadcast has caused a bit of a stir.

Personally, I thought having the slogan “Our priorities are your priorities” was a bit of a stretch; Tory priorities are to push down our wages so we can’t afford to eat, and to destroy the National Health Service so we can’t afford to get back to health after collapsing of malnutrition (see another story on This Site today).

Then I saw this…

… and thought I should take a look.

Clare’s tweet, below, sets the scene with another swipe at the way the broadcast made him look. You can view the clip itself as well:

So not only did Sunak look and sound ridiculous, he was also talking nonsense.
