RMT votes for six months’ more strike action

Last Updated: May 5, 2023By Tags: , , , , , ,

Mick Lynch: members of his RMT union have voted to continue strike action. Meanwhile, the government has subsidised rail firms with more money than the union’s pay demand.

This took me completely by surprise – I was concentrating on aspects of the local elections.

So I’m going to rely on Professor Tim Wilson for the details.

His comments about education are very interesting, I think.

The fascist tories don’t want to pay a real salary to railworkers, teachers, nurses, doctors because they believe only they and their greedy fascist tory donors should earn a real salary! Professor Wilson is correct the railway system will collapse but it will be cause of the greedy private corporate rail companies and their cronies the fascist tories who are syphoning all the money out of this system and into the pockets of shareholders and the higher up managers!
