Boris Johnson: don’t let the media make a messiah out of this racist, sexist, cowardly liar

You may have seen some news reports suggesting that contingency plans were made for Boris Johnson’s death of coronavirus – suggesting that his recovery may have been miraculous in some way.

In other words, the Tories and their supine media were trying to cook up a “back from the dead” story for Johnson, painting him as a Messiah-figure who has returned from the brink of the grave to bring strong leadership to a country desperately in need of it.

In other words, they’re trying to feed us another load of old pigswill.

Boris Johnson isn’t a messiah – he’s a sexist, racist, homophobic, cowardly liar.

Remember his Brexit campaign, when he lied that the NHS would be given £350 million a week? That investment might have done us all some good, prior to the coronavirus crisis but it was never going to happen because the Tories have been running the NHS down to make it ripe for privatisation – which would have made the UK even less capable of handling Covid-19.

Remember when he tried to make a joke of the massive loss of lives in the Libyan city of Sirte during that nation’s civil war? Or when he had to be stopped from inappropriately quoting a colonial poem by Kipling in Myanmar?

Remember when Eddie Mair, on BBC Radio 4, read out a litany of Johnson’s racist behaviour, to the dismay of Amber Rudd?

When Johnson refused to condemn widespread police violence against civilians in Catalonia?

When he spoke nonsense about Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe in Parliament, and the Iranian government used it to threaten her with an extra five years in prison, beyond the five she was already serving on a trumped-up charge?

When he was reprimanded by then-Commons Speaker John Bercow for referring to Emily Thornberry in “frankly sexist” terms?

When he praised Viktor Orban on his election win in Hungary after an anti-Semitic campaign?

His sexist and Islamophobic comments about women who wear the burqa?

The £53 million he spaffed on a ‘Garden Bridge’ that was never built?

His cowardice during the Tory leadership campaign when he was the absentee candidate?

The racist poem he published, saying that Scottish people were a “verminous” race that should be placed in ghettos and exterminated?

His racist assessment of the French as “turds“?

The allegation that Downing Street sought to restrict Johnson’s access to sensitive intelligence when he became Foreign Secretary?

The evidence that he met a Russian ex-KGB agent without being accompanied by his personal security detail, which strongly suggested that he was harming the UK’s security in relation to Russia? What happened about the so-called ‘Russia report’, discussing such security issues, that Johnson has been suppressing since before the general election last year?

His reference to gay men as “tank top-wearing bumboys“?

His question about Irish PM Leo Varadkar: “Why isn’t he called Murphy like the rest of them?”

His clueless claim that hard work can cure mental illness?

His relaxed attitude to his MPs abusing women?

His lie that the NHS would get 20 hospital upgrades, starting in his first week as prime minister – that he then edited out of a video?

His illegal attempt to prorogue Parliament?

His obscene description of then-Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn?

The corruption scandal in which he allegedly gave public money to his friend Jennifer Arcuri? What happened about that, by the way?

The allegation that Boris had taken money for his Tory leadership campaign from a group of hedge fund bosses who planned to make a fortune by getting him to force a “no deal” Brexit? What happened about that, by the way?

His decision to run away when the UK was flooded and needed strong leadership?

His failure to follow his own social distancing rules and subsequent illness with coronavirus? If he had died, it would have been of stupidity.

But he was never in any danger of death – and the people of the UK are registering their disgust at this latest attempt to make fools of us:

The only sane choice is to agree with the sentiment immediately above.

This fascist is Boris Johnson’s latest employee. If anyone complains, remind them who voted for him

Dominic Cummings did ask for “weirdos” – and that’s exactly what he’s giving us in the former of his fascist advisor Andrew Sabisky.

This maniac was handed a job by Boris Johnson, and has been sitting in on government briefings for a week already. His known beliefs, preferences and pronouncements should tell you everything you need to know about the direction of Mr Cummings’s government.

(Let’s be honest: Boris Johnson is just a figurehead and has been completely sidelined from policy management. The UK is being run by an unelected far-right extremist and now – it seems clear – his fascist helper.)

Consider:

That’s right: Sabisky wanted to sterilise poor people. According to the Huffington Post, he sent that comment to a website run by Cummings – who seems to share the same leanings.

There’s more:

Oh, and he thinks taking an allegedly brain-enhancing drug called Modafinil is “worth a dead kid”. According to the Daily Mail:

“In a 2016 interview Mr Sabisky talks about modafinil – a drug usually used to tackle sleepiness due to narcolepsy but often used as a brain-enhancer.

“Mr Sabisky – who calls himself a ‘super forecaster’ – addressed the drug’s side effects in children which includes a higher risk of Stevens-Johnson syndrome, a life-threatening condition in which a person’s skin dies and falls off.

“He told an interview with School’s Week: ‘From a societal perspective the benefits of giving everyone modafinil once a week are probably worth a dead kid once a year.’

“In the same interview, he said: ‘Eugenics are about selecting “for” good things.”

Eugenics – the policy of selective breeding to enhance some genetic traits and reduce others – was a prominent Nazi policy.

Oh, and he’s a sexist too: “Mr Sabisky Tweeted: ‘I am always straight up in saying that women’s sport is more comparable to the Paralympics than it is to men’s.'”

The Mail on Sunday also reported that Sabisky did not agree that female genital mutilation (FGM) was a scandal.

“It is still unclear to what extent FGM represents a serious risk to young girls, raised in the UK, of certain minority group origins,” he wrote.

“Much of the hue and cry looks more like a moral panic.”

This is the direction of your government.

Fortunately, someone in the train-wreck that we still call the Labour Party has got their act together enough to call for Sabisky’s removal – before he can do serious harm.

According to the Huffington Post (again): “Shadow Cabinet Office minister Jon Trickett said: “There are really no words to describe Boris Johnson’s appointment as one of his senior advisers a man who is on record as supporting the forced sterilisation of people he considers not worthy. He must of course be removed from this position immediately.”

“Number 10 has declined to comment.”

And there’s your problem.

Number 10 doesn’t have to comment – or do anything at all about this – because the UK electorate voted the Conservatives back into power with a thumping great majority, so the Conservatives are going to use it to give us a great big thumping.

With Cummings and Sabisky in the driving seat, you’d better get ready for perverse levels of oppression.

And if any Tory voter turns to you and complains, just remind them:

You voted for this. Own it.

See the way people stop supporting Boris Johnson when they realise what he’s like

Isn’t it interesting?

He has been nailed yet again over his lies – this time by a local TV news reporter:

Make sure people see this – it represents the current Conservative mindset: sexism, racism and lies.

And vote Labour on December 12.

Boris Johnson thinks children of single mothers are ‘ignorant and illegitimate’. Charming!

Boris Johnson: A while ago I used this image with a story about his racism and captioned it “Yes, he’s a sexist too.” In the spirit of fairness: Yes, he’s a racist too.”

Presumably there aren’t many single mums in Uxbridge and Ruislip.

This is a reminder that your Conservative prime ministerial candidate it a complete and utter git:

Boris Johnson branded the children of single mothers “ill-raised, ignorant, aggressive and illegitimate” in a magazine column, it has emerged.

In the same column, he argued it was “feeble” for a man to be reluctant or unable to “take control of his woman.”

He said it was “outrageous” that married couples should fund “‘the single mothers’ desire to procreate independently of men.”

And he said a way needed to be found to “restore women’s desire to be married.”

What on Earth makes this ignoramus think children of single mothers must be illegitimate? Many children are born in wedlock but the marriages then break up – it’s a sad fact of our times.

What makes him think they are “ill-raised, ignorant” and, indeed, “aggressive”? I know many people who were raised by single parents to be hugely valuable members of society.

So Mr Johnson was merely displaying his own ignorance.

Then again, that is obvious from his contention that a man should “take control of his woman”.

The best women I know are utterly uncontrollable and would bring a terrible fate down on any man who tried to change them.

And his comments about restoring “women’s desire to be married” are the ramblings of a sexist control freak.

Notice he says nothing about men’s desire to be married.

We have heard echoes of these sentiments many times in recent weeks and months – these are Boris Johnson’s beliefs.

Allowing such a sexist, misogynist ignoramus to the highest office in the land will reflect appallingly badly on the UK among other nations – and who knows how much harm he could do domestically?

But some people think he has something to offer.

Or are they also prejudiced in their own way – against good government?

Boris Johnson prompted a surge in racist and sexist attacks. He has to go

Racist and sexist: Boris Johnson.

Evidence from the monitoring group Tell Mama shows that Boris Johnson is a sexist and a racist who promotes sectarian violence against people of other religions.

This is the man who is trying to take the UK out of the European Union in such a way that he will be able to strip rights from particular sections of society and persecute as he pleases.

We know he is capable of it because we have witnessed the persecution of the sick and disabled, with thousands of people having their benefits withdrawn for no good reason, driving them to poverty and death.

Who knows what Dictator Johnson would do to other minority groups, given the chance?

He has to go. The sooner, the better.

Hopefully events in Westminster over the next few days will eject him.

If not, then we must find ways to push him out.

Boris Johnson’s comments on women wearing the veil led to a surge in anti-Muslim attacks and incidents of abuse, the monitoring group Tell Mama has said.

In its annual report, the group said [a] significant spike occurred in August [2018] after Johnson wrote a column referring to veiled Muslim women as “letterboxes” and “bank robbers”.

In the week following that article, Tell Mama said anti-Muslim incidents increased by 375% – from eight incidents the previous week, to 38 in the following.

Of the 38 anti-Muslim hate incidents, 22 were directed at Muslim women who wore the niqab, or face veil.

The group recorded a total of 57 incidents in the three weeks following the publication of the column by the former foreign secretary and current prime minister, 32 of which were directed at Muslim women. It said that between 5 and 29 August, 42% of the street-based incidents reported to Tell Mama directly referenced Johnson and the language used in his column.

Public reaction to Johnson suggests widespread belief that Conservatives are a racist party

Racist and sexist: Let’s not forget that Boris Johnson has also been criticised for his attitude to women.

It is perfectly understandable that Tory MPs are supporting Boris Johnson’s bid to be prime minister because the Conservative Party is inherently racist – according to members of the public.

This Site’s articles after the SNP’s Commons leader, Ian Blackford, condemned Mr Johnson over racist remarks made in the past, stirred up a storm of responses on the social media – that speak for themselves:

“Tells us all we need to know that despite their pretence to care about racism they will happily elect a racist to try and keep them in power. Shameful-but totally in keeping with Tory values,” tweeted Peter Shearer.

“I believe the Tory Party’s base is as racist as those they vote into public office,” added ‘Cochis’.

‘Maryland’ suggested the reminder of the remarks would “potentially increase his vote. They are all in this together.”

Sue Lees: “Of course, they already knew he was a bigot and they condone it. No excuses, no justification, anyone who supports his sort of ideology are themselves complete arses.”

Louise Preston: “Of course they will still vote for him. Only interested in clinging into power and cabinet posts for themselves, couldn’t care less about anything else.”

‘Dot’ stated that Tories would vote for Mr Johnsons: “Everyday and twice on Sunday. Tory MPs are that craven.”

They may be voting for him twice today (Thursday, June 20), in fact.

“Yes they will,” agreed ‘AfterAtosAssessment. “It’s not an issue for those who vote the likes of Boris in over and over again.”

Michael Taylor: “Well after all the Tory party are and have always been racist.”

And according to Derrick Gaskin, “Most Conservative MPs are racist.

That assertion may well be demonstrated by the results of the last two votes by Tory MPs today.

But Conservative Party members in the constituencies are watching – and may fear being tarred with the same “racism” brush that has touched so many of their MPs.

A vote for Mr Johnson is now being seen as a vote for racism. Will the Tory grassroots vote for racism?

UPDATE: Boris Johnson had 157 votes in the fourth round of the Tory leadership election which means more than half of the Conservative MPs in Parliament are now openly supporting his racism.

Brexit Party – that wants to force the UK out of the EU – could be funded by foreigners

Nigel Farage with Donald Trump: But who knows who makes donations to his Brexit Party?

What a contradiction.

The party that hates foreigners is apparently being propped up with foreign money.

It seems “dirty money” – possibly part of foreign interference in UK democracy, intended to de-stabilise the EU – could be propping up Nigel Farage’s new front.

At least, that’s what Gordon Brown thinks:

Gordon Brown has written to the Electoral Commission calling on it to urgently examine whether the party has sufficient safeguards on its website to prevent the contribution of “dirty money”.

The former Labour prime minister will use a speech in Glasgow on Monday to say an investigation into the Brexit party’s finances is urgent and essential.

“Nigel Farage says this election is about democracy. Democracy is fatally undermined if unexplained, unreported and thus undeclared and perhaps under the counter and underhand campaign finance – from whom and from where we do not know – is being used to influence the very elections that are at the heart of our democratic system,” he will say, according to pre-released extracts.

“Now Mr Farage heads a new Brexit party, which is making questionable claims about the true source of its funding at a time when the Electoral Commission has warned of the dangers of multiple, small, anonymous donations being a cover for dirty money.”

(Source: Brexit party’s funding must be investigated, says Gordon Brown | Politics | The Guardian.)

Brexit Party co-founder and chairman Richard Tice has said all donations to the party are in Sterling – but this seems to refer to its PayPal account. I have one of those and everything that comes in appears in Sterling. Not convincing.

The party’s website has no safeguards to ensure that donors are eligible to support UK political parties.

A Mirror investigation found that it was possible to sign up as a Brexit Party supporter under the name of Vladimir Putin, giving the address of the Kremlin.

Nigel Farage has also stumbled on the funding issue, being unwilling to discuss contributions from Arron Banks as anything other than a “purely private matter”.

Of course, being tight-lipped is probably a good idea for Mr Farage – just consider the Independent‘s list of his racist and sexist comments in the run-up to the EU referendum in 2016.

Among many abhorrent words, he made racial slurs against Romanians and Chinese people, and said the gender pay gap exists because women are “worth less”.

And the polls say the Brexit Party is favourite to win the most seats in the European Parliament.

Really?

Take a look at yourself, Britain. Are you really a racist, sexist, xenophobic and bigoted country? That’s how your next-door-neighbour – physically and internationally – will see you if you vote for the Brexit Party and Farage.

Do Tories really expect us to accept this serial scofflaw as a future leader of the UK?

Boris Johnson: A clown, even when he isn’t wearing the make-up.

Why are the Tories touting Boris Johnson as the likely future leader of the United Kingdom when he can’t even show enough good character to follow the rules of Parliament?

There is no way this man should be allowed anywhere near the mechanisms of law-making, let alone given an opportunity to mess around with international law.

His latest transgression is a failure to declare ownership of a 20 per cent share in a house in Somerset within the required time after acquiring it.

That may seem a small breach of the rules, but there seems to be something more sinister behind it. The Commons standards committee rejected Mr Johnson’s claim that he had not understood the rules as this offence followed a previous failure to declare a financial interest.

Last year, Mr Johnson was also found to have broken rules that prevent former cabinet ministers taking up new jobs for three months after leaving office, by signing up to write a £275,000-a-year column in the Daily Telegraph.

The committee’s ruling stated that he showed “an over-casual interest towards obeying the rules of the House”.

It added: “The committee found it particularly regrettable that Mr Johnson gave the commissioner an assurance that his registration of interests was up to date, and within a very short period it proved not to be.”

His punishment is to receive a lecture on his responsibilities – to which he probably won’t listen, even if he bothers to attend. Any further breaches may call for “more serious action”, the committee stated.

The incident shows a flagrant disregard for rules which make Mr Johnson entirely unsuitable for any position of responsibility at all – yet the Conservatives are suggesting that this clown could be the UK’s next prime minister.

And let’s not forget his casual sexism and racism – including his attack on Muslim women’s dress sense.

No. This country is already a laughing-stock. It is time for serious, steady leadership – not an irresponsible jackass.

Shaun Bailey: Tory London mayoral candidate is SEXIST as well as RACIST, it seems

Shaun Bailey: Conservative candidate for Islamophobia – and now, for sexism and misogyny.

How encouraging that the Conservative Party has not withdrawn its support for Shaun Bailey as London mayoral candidate, despite the evidence that he is not only a racist (as discussed elsewhere) but also a sexist.

It may be seen as evidence that the Tories are at last displaying their true colours.

According to Business Insider:

“Single girls in inner cities “deliberately become pregnant” in order to secure homes and benefits from the government, the Conservatives’ London mayoral candidate Shaun Bailey, wrote in 2006.

“Bailey, who has secured the nomination to take on London mayor Sadiq Khan, wrote in the Telegraph that “any young girl living in the inner city will be clued up on how the system works.”

“In the comments, unearthed by Business Insider, he added: “They won’t be too careful about not becoming parents. In some cases, they will deliberately become pregnant – as they know that if they do, they will get a flat.”

“He went on: “It is the same with benefits. These people are not stupid. If the state offers them money for doing something, they will do it. It is as simple as that.”

“In similar comments speaking at the Conservative party conference in 2008, Bailey also said there was a “cottage industry” in young women getting pregnant for state support, the Observer reports today.

“”Girls getting knocked up to get housing? It’s a cottage industry where I come from,” he said.”

And Buzzfeed News reported:

“Conservative London mayoral candidate Shaun Bailey has been criticised for a series of controversial comments he made when he was a youth worker in North Kensington in 2005.

“Among the remarks unearthed by BuzzFeed News are claims that “good looking” girls in the area “tend to have been around” and that “poor people” require “rules” and “direction” or else they will turn to crime.

“Bailey also railed against the impact of drugs on the estate, warning that young girls were likely to start smoking before boys because “they have a smoker’s attitude”.”

Labour’s Rosena Allin-Khan told the site this was “appalling sexism and misogyny”.

But the Tory candidate’s campaign team said they were the “blunt words” of someone “who hasn’t figured it all out” but wanted to make a contribution to society by offering his experiences, “however raw they might seem now”.

Read the Buzzfeed and Business Insider articles and you’ll be able to draw your own conclusions about Mr Bailey’s words.

One doubts such conclusions will be favourable.

Of course, words published many years ago may not be representative of a gentleman’s current thinking.

How long will we have to wait for Mr Bailey’s full and frank statement disowning his former words and explaining his attitudes – both then and now?

I won’t be holding my breath waiting!

This Sugar is NOT sweet: Outrage over Lord’s anti-Corbyn poem [STRONG LANGUAGE]

Sexist rant: Lord Sugar.

Lord Sugar is a microcosm of what’s wrong with Tory Britain – a wealthy businessman who thinks he can say anything he wants without censure.

Only a few days ago, he deleted a disgusting tweet showing a photoshopped image of Jeremy Corbyn with Adolf Hitler – an appalling lapse of taste at a time when Mr Corbyn was facing false accusations of anti-Semitism.

Now Lord Sugar has compounded his crime by tweeting a perverse poem, again attacking Mr Corbyn.

Here’s the tweet. I’ve taken a screenshot rather than linking to the tweet itself, in case he deletes it:

Reactions have – of course – been overwhelmingly negative:

Here’s one extremely serious point which Lord Sugar should have considered before he released his ill-judged verses:

It’s true that Lord Sugar’s tweet is yet another example of abuse against Diane Abbott – and of sexism against women in general.

This is not behaviour befitting a Lord of the Realm.

But it seems he is determined to continue these inappropriate rants.

Clearly he thinks he is above retribution. Somebody should prove him wrong. It seems clear his ennoblement was premature. Time he was stripped of it.
