Why is Keir Starmer ignoring racism and Islamophobia exposed by the Forde Report

Starmer takes the knee for Black Lives Matter: to him it meant nothing more than a photo opportunity. Black lives don’t matter to him – as we discovered when he attacked the organisation shortly after. Now we find he’s turning a blind eye to racism identified in the report by Martin Forde KC.

Anti-black racism and Islamophobia in the Labour Party, raised by Martin Forde KC in his report to that organisation last summer, has been ignored by party leaders including Keir Starmer.

Starmer has not contacted Forde since he published his report confirming that anti-Semitism and other racism had been a battleground between left- and right-wing factionalists within Labour. It seems this was not what the party leader wanted to hear.

Fortunately for him, very few mainstream media journalists had been interestest either:

Yes – odd, that. Mainstream hacks had been able to doorstep Jeremy Corbyn at the drop of a hat, but Starmer seems uncontactable.

Worse, Starmer seems to have ignored concerns raised by black and minority ethnic figures within his own Parliamentary party:

Here’s some evidence to back up the assertion:

Strange how anti-Semitism against pro-Israel Zionists can be such a vital issue for Starmer, but racism against non-Zionist left-wing Jews, black people and Muslims gets a free pass.

Hypocrite Starmer stirs up hate then has the front to release Remembrance message

Hypocritical flag-waver: Keir Starmer speaks to the cameras in praise of our Armed Forces who have fought race hate and genocide – but he also supports a genocidal racist, and has said nothing against racist moves to unseat black female MPs in his own party.

Was anybody fooled by Keir Starmers display of commemoration and humility in memory of those in our Armed Forces who fought, among other things, against race hate and genocide?

Here’s his message:

And here’s another message by Keir Starmer, sent on the previous day, supporting genocidal racist Tzipi Hotovely and condemning the peaceful protesters who told her she was not welcome on their college campus:

The demonstration was peaceful. It is Hotovely who demands violence against people who do not belong to her own ethnic group – a group to which Starmer belongs by marriage and supports in his business dealings and political activities.

The message is clear:

… and that includes anybody who has served in the Armed Forces, fighting race hate and genocide.

Now, that race hate and intolerance are making themselves clear within the ranks of the Parliamentary Labour Party, as it seems Starmer is planning to deselect four sitting MPs – for the crime of being black:

It seems the claim is that some in local party groups are stirring up unrest on the basis that some of the named black women were selected as supporters of Jeremy Corbyn, rather than as representatives of the people in the constituencies.

Among those facing deselection is Zarah Sultana, who is widely accepted to have been one of the most effective MPs in a Labour Party that has been rendered toothless by Starmer’s leadership:

She recently highlighted the racist abuse she receives from members of the public, posting on Twitter an email she received on her return from bereavement leave after the death of her grandmother:

What has Starmer done to support his MP in the face of this racism?

Nothing.

I’ll say it again:

He has done nothing.

He supports genocidal racists and he undermines people of colour in his own organisation – while pretending to be pious for the cameras.

What a verminous, racist hypocrite.

Did Labour widely distribute intimidating letter to domestic abuse victim Apsana Begum?

Apsana Begum: why won’t Keir Starmer support his MP?

Is the Labour Party deliberately abusing a former victim of domestic abuse?

Apsana Begum has spoken of being a victim of domestic abuse, coercive control and financial abuse during her short marriage to a Tower Hamlets councillor, Ehtashamul Haque, between 2013 and 2015.

She was falsely accused of council housing fraud and had to go through a lengthy trial, at the end of which she was cleared of all charges.

Now this:

These are just allegations. This Writer cannot vouch for their veracity or make any claims as to who may be responsible for whatever has happened.

But doesn’t it seem strange that the Labour Party under Keir Starmer seems to have less regard for the well-being of one of its own MPs than under alleged racist (but we all know that was another nonsense allegation, right?) Jeremy Corbyn?

Ms Begum seems remarkably upbeat about it:

But the question remains: what is going on in Tower Hamlets and why hasn’t the Labour leadership clamped down and announced an investigation – possibly, considering the situation, involving the police?

Starmer’s shame: no comfort for acquitted Apsana – but fulsome praise for Breeder Boris

Boris’s buddy: Keir Starmer is more interested in chumming up with the prime minister, as he prepares to have his seventh, eighth or ninth child, than in providing moral and personal support to one of his own Labour MPs.

If he’s more interested in Tories, and in praising Tories, than in supporting members of his own party who have been through extremely trying times, what does that make Keir Starmer?

Apsana Begum has just been acquitted of making fraudulent housing claims after a court heard that she had been a victim of domestic abuse.

The Poplar and Limehouse Labour MP had been accused of three counts of making dishonest applications for council homes to Tower Hamlets Council.

But the charges were dropped – after 18 months of “false accusations, online sexist, racist, and Islamophobic abuse, and threats to [her] safety” – when Snaresbrook Crown Court heard her “controlling” husband was in charge of her finances and she was “shocked” to discover the paperwork was in her name.

Details are available here.

Ms Begum has been widely congratulated for her court victory – particularly in the face of sustained abuse during the entire period the case was open – by such people as former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn’s wife…

… and by Mr Corbyn himself:

But some were notable by their silence – and it was noticed…

… particularly when Keir Starmer published congratulations to Boris and Carrie Johnson on the announcement that they are to have another baby:

Not only is Starmer’s behaviour questionable; so is that of Boris Johnson in having another child.

He is on the record as having spoken out for population control…

… but apparently he thinks only other people – the poor, perhaps – should practise it:

What an enormous hypocrite.

Who’s paying for this new arrival, by the way?

And then there’s the sexist aspect of this:

If that last comment is right, then not only is Starmer condoning Johnson’s hypocritical, entitled “one rule for me…” elitism; not only is he a sexist for praising Johnson over behaviour that would cause a woman to be shunned and ridiculed; but he is also colluding in the deception – by distraction – of the UK’s population.

I want to know about these Russian donations! And I want to find out more about these vaccine passports too. Instead I find myself having to draw attention to this, because it raises serious questions about Starmer’s status as Leader of the Opposition.

How can he oppose Johnson when he’s so busy helping him?

Will somebody please clear this squatter out of the Labour Party leadership?
