Senior MPs in line for a THIRD pay rise of up to £15,000 a year
What about the rest of us?
Senior MPs could be in line for their THIRD bumper pay rise in a year.
Around 80 members who also help chair committee meetings and debates are set to get the eye-watering wage hike.
Half are in line for an extra £3,700 a year – the other half could see up to £15,000 more in their pay packets.
Chairs – who lead meetings of the influential groups – already get up to £15,000 on top of the £74,000 they get for being an MP, depending on their length of service.
In April, all MPs are in line for a 1.3% increase in their basic salary – which is already more than three times the national average.

at least you are one of a very few who talks in the real world in fact your probably the only journalist who gets their facts right hence the serious problems this country faces
if you got every journalist bar yourself taking and printing rubbish then what would you expect ?
i’m surprised anyone gets involved in journalism be it in the press or on the tv as in the main they haven’t a clue on anything
It must be performance related pay – can’t be anything else!?
UK’s benefit claimants are dying, through suicide and starvation, because of the draconian welfare reforms, while their MPs are behaving like pigs at the trough.
