The problem with this poll is that it was commissioned by a group that campaigns against private businesses running public services, and therefore has about as much relevance as a poll commissioned by the Conservative Party showing public support for it. My own belief is that privately-run public services are a mistake because taxpayers’ money is being siphoned off as profit, but we need unbiased research to prove it.
