Chuka Umunna – a member of Blue Labour, Mandelson’s choice for the leadership, and the man who would have invited Michael Heseltine to take part in a Labour government.
No. No. A thousand times, no.

Never! Private school educated, lawyer!
Labour needs a leader who understands the ordinary people of this country and who isn’t there for his own glory. Umunna could join the Tory party and he’d fit in fine.
If the Labour party ever hope to get back on track they have to stop giving that evil scumbag, Mandelson, any say in anything. He was more to blame for the movement to the right than Blair, his puppet.
Sorry Chuka is a bit young for this role and he tends to lose his cool under pressure,he will get better but needs to learn control. My vote will go to either Yvette Cooper or Chris Leslie…..both very articulate and fairly neutral….neither to left or to right.
