Academies and Free Schools are both privately-owned, meaning this is part of the Conservative Party’s massive agenda to drive up profits for a very small number of people, while driving down the quality of your children’s education.
The rest of this is just window-dressing.
Superheads will be sent to turn around failing and “coasting” schools under powers to be introduced in the Queen’s Speech on 27 May, the Education Secretary Nicky Morgan will announce.
The Tories don’t like anything from which they cannot make a load of personal profit. Deep down they also resent ordinary working people receiving a good education which will empower them and undermine the aristocratic ruling class, which is how Tories see themselves.
