RIP Social Housing Monday 23 Jan 2017 – SPeye Joe
From tomorrow, Monday, the 23 January 2017 social housing dies as every housing association and council landlord in the UK will say NO DSS and refuse to accommodate families – directly because of the overall benefit cap.
NO DSS becomes the norm for the 385,000 new social housing tenancies that housing associations and councils allocate each year as the OBC is applied to the final seven local council areas of Birmingham, Brent, Ealing, Hackney, Hounslow, Leeds and Manchester which the government estimates are the seven worst affected areas in the UK.

This government’s policies are less to do with irresponsible and everything to do with vicious social engineering. One might forgive the former, if the error were acknowledged, but never the latter, which is just downright evil.
The Tories did not give a flying flea about the plebs and how they survive under their Con tyranny. Interestingly in our area social tenants are vetted as to how much they earn from working and get priority accordingly. The rest can eat cake.
no doubt we be having fist pumping smith and the rest of his cronies looking well pleased, as well as food banks they now be dishing out cardboard boxes, you can’t think this lot can go any lower, that is wrong they are a new form of low in itself, something that no matter what money you could throw at it you could not get a definition, there needs to be a change of government and rules and regulations making all ministers and advisors accountable and i am not talking about misconduct in public office, criminal responsibility, so you do something that is knowingly wrong or spend money on something that is not fit for purpose, mandatory criminal investigation, they talk about honesty, well they need to be kept honest, the rot started at the top, has been there for a long time and now it is time to permanently de-weed the rot and replace it with responsible people not the current bunch of laughing buffoons that we seem to have.
