The ‘quiet’ protests against Donald Trump that could be more effective than mass demonstrations
One of the few silver linings in the wake of Donald Trump’s attempts to halt immigration into the US, has been the many people expressing their appreciation and support for what immigrants have done for America.
And that hasn’t just been shown in the form of vocal mass protests. Sometimes a quiet message of defiance can be just as powerful.

So Mark Simmons, chef at Kiwiana restaurant in Brooklyn, has added the message reproduced above to all his till receipts.
He’s not the only one, you know.
If you see anti-Trump sentiments expressed on receipts, clothes labels, washing instructions (in one notable French case that I can’t find at the moment), then please send them in.
