Did we ever thank the Scots for the treatment they gave Theresa May?
It’s a valid question, don’t you think?
I saw it posed on Twitter by Eoin Clarke:

He had previously retweeted a short film showing the exact nature of the Scottish welcome – courtesy of Sky News, of all sources:

For those of you who like a really good laugh, here’s the ‘Benny Hill’ version:
Those people who say Theresa May is fake are just haters. They're all wrong. She's amazing really. Proof here. pic.twitter.com/ruhEEJf2Qh

Good for the Scots. They don’t want a government with a “strong smell of stables” about it.
Nor should the rest of us.
On a more serious note:
Perhaps this is the reason Mrs May is inviting only the Tory faithful to her public appearances: Because nobody else would turn up?

Great piece of film. Shows the sheer arrogance of the woman that she even thought anyone in Scotland would speak to her. I suspect that there was a huge collective sigh of relief when she went.
Well it would appear not to well organised to get pre-selected pro Cons house calls to ensure good video. Looked unhappy mingling with the middle class would have been traumatised if she had hit a real Council Estate environment
I doubt she would ever visit a council estate in Scotland, she might get taken hostage by a real life Rab.C.Nesbitt.
doubt any of those residents would want to touch her. the evil might rub off onto them.
I like the guy gardening and totally ignoring her. To be honest, if I hadn’t read the Herald the day after, I wouldn’t have known she was even in Scotland.
on the videos I’ve seen of her “meetings” with the electorate. if they are/were Tory supporters they looked bored to death and as if they wished themselves anywhere else but there.
