Tory infighting leads to a very public takedown for Boris Johnson

In or out: Boris Johnson was all for staying in the EU a couple of weeks ago, but a couple of weeks in politics is a long time.

What did he expect?

Soon after Boris Johnson declared that he would campaign for the UK to leave the European Union, we were all reminded that he had campaigned for Turkey to become a member, so he was already guilty of double-standards (why want them in, and us out?) but more was to follow.

We have since learned that Mr Johnson has been hoping an ‘Out’ vote might lead to further renegotiation with the other EU countries, leading to a settlement for the UK that would make him happier.

(Or – as most of us surmised – he thought joining the ‘Out’ brigade might endear him to Tory backbenchers, or at least enough of them to ease him into Number 10 after Cameron slings his hook.)

The incumbent wasted no time in taking down the soon-to-be ex-mayor of London – and in doing so, took the in-fighting within the Conservative Party to the House of Commons.

He said, in today’s (February 22) Commons session: “An idea has been put forward that if the country votes to leave we could have a second renegotiation and perhaps another referendum.

“I won’t dwell on the irony that some people who want to vote to leave – apparently want to use a leave vote to remain. But such an approach also ignores more profound points about democracy, diplomacy and legality. This is a straight democratic decision – staying in or leaving – and no government can ignore that. Having a second renegotiation followed by a second referendum is not on the ballot paper.

” I have known a number of couples who have begun divorce proceedings. But I do not know any who have begun divorce proceedings in order to renew their marriage vows.”

That’s Boris Johnson told – and by his own Tory colleague.

Dubious anyway; I mean look at all the dodgy Tories lining up for the ‘Go’ camp – More smoke and mirrors.
I mean most voters will be thinking if that bunch of dodgy b’stards want us to leave all the more reason to stay!

It’s high time we stopped taking notice of Johnson. He’s a twerp. Yes, he campaigned for Turkey to be admitted to the EU, but I think going back a generation or two, he has Turkish antecedents. Boris is a turkey of another kind. Boris will do absolutely anything to get his name in the paper, a few more quid in his pocket and a bit more power. But he has nothing useful to offer this country.

Look! we already know that Caligula Cameroon and BORE-US ARE TWO UNPRINCIPLED SWINE, each fighting for the ownership of Thatcher Crown for the slaughter of the innocent:

The sick, The poor, The old and, lets not forget, The destruction of the Hopes and aspirations of the young with the ruination of Education and, the abandoning of procedures for Child Health care.

    Unique Barriers for Children

Children and adolescents face additional and unique barriers to obtaining adequate health care. Such barriers prevent access to care and create health disparities. Inequalities in child survival are not the result of a lack of technological solutions. Rather, poor children continue to suffer because cost-effective child health interventions fail to reach them. It has been estimated that taking existing child health interventions to scale can result in a two-thirds reduction in child mortality, achieving the Millennium Development Goal’s target for child mortality reduction.(1

Constant whining on our part is achieving Nada-Nothing, we are fragmented and easily diverted, we are poorly led, mostly ignored by Unions and, even worse, our Elected self serving, strutting Elites, who consider that they own our Votes as opposed to the reality that if they were not attaching the Labour Party cachet to their Election hopes, they would simply be perceived as Screaming Lord Sutch’s; instead of which they are the root cause of yours and Mine frustrated SCREAMING.

GET IT TOGETHER OR, GET OF THE…. potty, our Children cannot survive much more of this….

Attaching the LABOUR Party cachet to their election hopes? Don’t you mean Tory Party?

They would be Tories if they were wanted by them, Labour will take anything, so we end up with crap…and its partly your fault; use a Lie detector next time some Pin stripped hopeful knocks on the door seeking a Constituency.

No, Labour won’t take anything. You have no right to make wild claims about a process in which you’ve never participated. If you have taken part, then you must take part of the blame.
