Double-amputee dad claims Ryanair told him to CRAWL to plane home from holiday

But that is exactly what will happen, as long as ‘scrounger’ rhetoric is allowed to be published and broadcast indiscriminately.
As for Ryanair’s denial – they would, wouldn’t they?
A dad who had both legs amputated claims he was told to CRAWL to a plane by staff working for Ryanair.
Matthew Parkes, 38, says he was instructed by gate staff to drag himself down two ramps, a set of stairs, across tarmac and up the steps of the Manchester -bound plane.
When he refused, he says they carried him the full length of the plane on a stretcher chair – in front of hundreds of seated passengers.
Ryanair say Mr Parkes was provided with the correct assistance for a passenger with reduced mobility and said ‘as far as they can tell there is no truth to the claims’.

its clear humanity as a species will be destroyed if we depend on politicians. We must admit the party political system produces elected dictatorships.
The system can only produce unfairness, inequality, and corrupt practices.
Change is well overdue.
Compared to spunging politicians
When I read at which airport this gentleman was treated so poorly I was àmazed. The problem lies primarily with the airlines not catering for PRMs as no matter how long in advance you book your tickets, you have to pay extra for seats near the front of the aircraft.
If PRMs were treated with respect, there would be a free upgrade to the second or third rows this would stop the able bodied passengers having to be bumped into as PRMs are moved to their seats.
Malaga airport’s “sin barreras” staff normally arrive late to collect PRMs, but then push to the front of the.queue, at least they do with easyJet flights.
Sounds like a PIP medical.
To the point Thomas, and I think that everyone who earns (sic) UNDER £74,000 (as per MPs.. as a minimum) is now considered a “scrounger”.
I recieved exactly the same abysmal treatment at Malaga airport whilst boarding a Ryanair flight: bumped all down the plane and sustained injuries. We’d requested assistance 6 months in advance, so no that makes no difference. I probably shouldn’t go into more detail here as mine is still subject to legal proceedings, but thank you for pointing to this case, as it adds evidence to mine.
