Electronic and postal ballots for the Labour leadership election will start to arrive from Monday for those still entitled to vote after the party machinery’s various anti-democratic measures to whittle down Jeremy Corbyn’s support.
Labour is asking people to vote electronically where possible to reduce the party’s cost. I’ve seen some encouraging people to vote by post as ‘payback’ for the punitive £25 charge imposed on those wishing to register as supporters – which includes many full members who have been deprived of their member vote as a result of the lame-duck and soon-to-be-replaced NEC’s decision to use dubious court decisions to enforce their disenfranchisement.
In spite of all this, I’d still encourage people to vote online, as Labour with a renewed Corbyn mandate will need the funds.
However, I would say this: vote by post or vote online – but keep a record of your completed vote.

How would a copy be useful?
As proof of the way you voted.
Oh yes they’re desperate alright, and they’ll do it if they can get away with it. We’ve seen it.

It’s almost as though you believe there may be some deceitful, dishonest and underhanded attempt to to rig the vote. Surely not from such a……. Oh, sorry, forgot who we’re dealing with for a minute.
I would not put it past them to loose a load of voteing slips can we trust the web ??
Not so much the web, more on who routes the router into who’s box when your vote is delivered!
After all, anyone can have a programming error if suspicions are aroused – not anyone’s fault that!
I would advocate that people keep a copy of their ballot vote but unless the right are willing to go down the ‘election fraud on a colossal scale’ road, there is no doubt that JC will win. If they did choose that path, then they will be facing fraud charges which would see many of them doing a prison stretch. It’s a big offence to be facing.
