Labour HQ say suspensions not being investigated until AFTER leadership ballot | andrewgodsell
Today has brought official confirmation from the Labour Party of the scenario many people feared.
Having prevented thousands of Corbyn supporters from voting in the leadership election, with draconian suspensions, the anti-Corbyn clique at headquarters are blocking members from an appeal process that could allow their votes to be reinstated.
This is a travesty of party democracy, and an insult to thousands of loyal Labour people.

I’m beginning to think that there’s a little more to these suspensions than we’re automatically thinking of – to reduce JC’s mandate;
Is there a pattern to the suspension of members- are numbers larger in CLP’s where the MP has been threatened with deselection (such as Eagle, Hunt and McGinn) ?
The banana Republic is here to stay
Game set and match members have been stuffed
Well, that’s that then. More like a postmortem! When the inquest reveals death of members’ votes was murder, who will be charged?
Prove (if ever you needed it), that (whilst some people HAVE been rejected for good reason), many, many others HAVE been deliberately targetted to stop them from having a vote! All to try and stop Corbyn!
It should be a case of “heads will roll”, but that won’t happen because JC wants us all to live happily ever after. Well we won’t, I might lose the anger but never the disgust and loathing.
Joseph Stalin, would be both proud and respectful of how the Blairite faction has handled the leadership contest. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. This lot have been in charge, long enough to rap their tendrils around the machinery and governance of the Party. If, Corbyn still manages to win then there must be a complete clear out – from top to bottom – of those with their mark on this disgraceful behaviour. No one can be left in any doubt as to how thoroughly corrupt and self-serving the PLP has become over the last 20 or so years. No one with an once of respect for democratic process should want their name associated with how the leadership contest is being run by PLP and its stooges within the Party machinery. I’m all for reconciliation, unity and not letting past events take eyes off what were all about, but this lot take the biscuit, the cake and the whole confectionary department.

Which truly shows that this leadership election is undemocratic and the results cannot be trusted.
Wow democracy has just died. Feels like the leadership of the Labour party has actually been taken over by dark forces of the worst kind…..how on earth did these ####s get such power of takeover and making up the rules as they go along.
Surely this type of rebellion deserves a reciprocal rebellion to purge them from taking over the Party. Sad day…..
The Labour MPs represent a wider political support than just the party members…….so what is democratic about paying a little to choose who may prove unacceptable at a General Election. Labour does seem to choose unlikely leaders!
Labour MPs represent support for Labour MPs. Sure, it’s more than just party members but it’s still support for the party and its policies.
Corbyns team should set up a purge line, all members can ring and complain, and see how many have been affected..
Surely, in that case, the result will be null and void, or, at least, contestable?
This large scale politically-motivated suspension of members’ voting rights is corrupt beyond belief, unforgivably executed by the people running the Labour Party, supposedly the ethical party, the party of fairness and justice? When the election is over the perpetrators must be exposed and expelled.
Well, I don’t know what this is all about…. but I’ve seen two tweets today from people who claim to have received an email telling them that their suspensions have been lifted. Anybody know what’s going on here?
