Last-minute whistleblowers come forward to accuse Tories of election expenses fraud
The Conservative Party has repeatedly said spending on the Battlebus 2015 campaign tour, which sent a fleet of coaches into 29 marginal seats, should have been declared nationally not locally.
But two Tory whistleblowers have said the party is “lying” about what happened on the Battlebus – and is now engaged in a “cover-up”.
They have come forward as the police investigation into possible election fraud by Conservative candidates reaches its final few weeks.
Gregg and Louise Kinsell volunteered for the Conservatives in the final few days of the “Battlebus 2015” campaign in the South West, working in four key seats for the party.
The Conservatives insist the Battlebus was a national event, with volunteers only promoting the party and not specific local candidates. As such the Battlebus was only declared in the Party’s national campaign expenses.
But the Kinsells say they were tasked with promoting local candidates, including being given local briefing papers and seat-specific scripts, being furnished with specific voter data and distributing local leaflets.
Gregg said: “If people are saying, and the MPs concerned in these areas are saying it was part of a greater expense nationally for the Conservatives, that is a lie and an obvious falsehood. In that case I feel especially motivated to go to the police and go to the Electoral Commission.
“So they are telling lies about what we did – and we duped people on the doors, it feels like cheating.”
Louise Kinsell said, “We went down and worked for individual candidates who then won their seat. If they hadn’t won their seat, the Conservatives may not have won the election.”

I hope that these new allegations finally make our media take note and start talking about our illegitimate government.
Do you believe them MIke? Why have we not heard from them before now?
Yes, I believe them, because I believe the allegations about the Tory 2015 election campaign are accurate.
Lets get these damned Tory fraudsters before the courts ASAP.
Jeeezzz, A Tory supporter with a honest heart. The Tory heavies and bully boys will be around their back doors pronto to get them to change their tune….can’t have honest Tory supporters for god sake it will ruin the nazi image that has been carefully cultivated all these last years. What we can say with total certainty they will not be visited by any intelligent boys in blue grasping the opportunity to build a case for this rampant cheating. Yes I know the Tories live for cheating and lying and they should have been gone over immediately after the election but this still needs going over properly now as per democractic procedures and more important acted on not just covered over as usually happens with these Elite issues. The powers that be have very efficiently publically kicked butt and fined the Libs and the Labour for their misdeeds so now its only right the Tory boys and girls should feel some heat and very large fines and better still kick them out. (will never happen….white wash) .
The police will not want to know after all this time, you know they carpet will be on the ceiling at this rat
I don’t understand the last part of this comment at all.
Not sure as to why you would not have some local material on any form of electioneering, after all just saying vote tory labour libdem or any other party doesn’t achieve much so to have both would be expected.
No – there are VERY specific rules on this which MUST be obeyed.
