KEY

ARC – Association of Revenue & Customs (Union for senior HMRC staff above Senior Officer grade)

Ex Com – Executive Committee

PMR – Performance management review (controversial appraisal system previously used by Enron, Ford and Microsoft; often referred to as “rank and yank)

WFM – Workforce Management ( unit set up to manage redundancies, office closures and surplus staff)
