Disabled man’s benefits are cut before Christmas – Littlehampton Gazette

Last Updated: December 23, 2014By

A wheelchair-bound man from Littlehampton has been left ‘devastated’ after the Government axed his disability allowances just days before Christmas, according to the Littlehampton Gazette.

Jon Ball, 59, has suffered from Klinefelter’s syndrome all his life. It’s a condition which has left him in constant pain and in need of heavy doses of medication.

However, this month, the Department for Works and Pensions (DWP), which provides his incapacity benefit and disability allowance, said he was no longer eligible for support.

He explained that due to his condition, he was forced to take dozens of pain relief and muscle relaxant tablets a day just to get by.

I would be claiming they are guilty of maladministration, causing undue stress, pain & suffering in a complaint telling them financial compensation will only suffice along with full reinstatement of benefits.
I just wonder if he’s recently got a PIP award as my benefit was stopped I phoned them after choosing not to display my number and was told it was due in tomorrow minus £61.10 * 2 (£122.20) SDP all because of changing to PIP.
It took them a week to say I was awarded enhanced PIP (both) but 5 months nearly to say they issued a IS10 on the day of payment some 4 months later.

that is what they did to me ten days before Christmas they stopped mine 3 years ago, I have family I hope this guy does and that they have enough to get by, at least they paid me a bit after the next year. But who can do such a thing, this is not right surely there are laws against this treatment it is cruelty beyond all imagination. This government has not even a nanometre of any worth, they are absolute nothing.

This government really, really hates and despises the disabled.

This murderous government hates and despises everyone who is not a part of their self defined elite.

I would go further and say that, apart from the select few wealthy donors, they hate everyone and everything. They are loathsome and despicable, particularly Duncan-Smith – a proven fraudster and liar.

The worry is the echoes of the Nazis, “we are just following orders”. How long do we have to accept the dictats of this murderous government before we are forced to take violent action?

This is a heartless decision by the DWP. Jon Ball should immediately ask for the decision to be looked at again – this known as a ‘mandatory reconsideration’. He may be able to claim other benefits during this time, such as hardship payments. He’s probably unfit for Jobseeker’s allowance (JSA). He should seek further advice especially if he has no money to live on.

This is awful. DWP, how could you let this happen?

The worst of it is that they seem to take great glee out of doing this to people.

I have sent a very strongly worded email to the readers letters section of the Daily Telegraph [email protected] about this blatant propaganda that the Sun shines out of Iain Duncan Smiths fundamental orifice. I do not expect my comments to be published:-

You have to understand the mentatlity [as exemplified by George “Returned to Unit” Smith of DWP in spades] – they just DO NOT CARE. That’s the acid test I use on whatever claptrap any from the Contradiction Party come out with – If they cared what have they done? Who has benifited? Were the poorest actually helped rather than words of worthless platitude?
