Former Cameron aide Patrick Rock guilty of five counts of making indecent images of children – so far
The images are classed as ‘level C’, which means they are of under-aged people alone.
Mystery still surrounds the fate of 42 other images, for which Rock was originally charged but not tried.
This Writer welcomes a comment by Vox Political reader ‘loobitzh’, that puts the issue of whether an image is indecent into context:
“For me the fact that the girls were not naked is irrelevant, as is the level of perceived indecency.
“It’s the fact that these young girls have probably been groomed and/or exploited to pose for them that’s more the point.
“That’s sexual abuse in itself, and to have this man download these images of underage children is not excusable on the grounds of them resembling Britney Spears-type images.
“I can’t remember how old Britney was in the photos mentioned, but if she were underage, then she was likely also groomed and exploited by paedophiles.
“I hope this kind of defense doesn’t set some kind of precedent!
“Just occurred to me that this story could be some form of propaganda designed to alter public perception, opinion of such abuse etc….”
A former aide to Prime Minister David Cameron has been found guilty of five counts of making indecent photographs of children.
Earlier Patrick Rock, 65, was cleared on two counts of downloading pictures of scantily-clad under-age girls.
A jury at Southwark Crown Court in London are still deliberating on 13 charges. Rock has denied all the charges of making an indecent photograph of a child.

jail the scumbag
one of them might be of a pigs head chewing on a sausage.
Trying to change public perception of paedaphiles in order to “save” the reputation on one of his cronies? How sick is that!!
Yup. Look at some of the comments on today’s article about Rock.
When you pull the plug from the bottom of the barrel you tend to get the sludge, we may have a short wait until the scum appears.
Will be interested to see how this nasty character is sentenced and what sort of publicity it receives.
I’m sure the greatest legal and policing system in the world will ensure that justice will be seen to be done in a timely, properly and fair manner. In the eyes of the law everyone in this great Country is always treated equally . Hillsborough is a good example of how it really works……..for the establishment!.
