Disability benefit delays unacceptable
Here’s a very diplomatically-worded press release from the chairperson of the Commons Work and Pensions Select Committee, saying that the DWP is make false savings by delaying decisions on PIP claims for six months or more – and promoting discrimination against benefit claimants by littering its press releases with prejudicial language.

This government hates disabled people.
I don’t see the point of having the DWP Select Committee as the Tories ignore all their findings. Once they got into in power, they (the Tories) seem untouchable and answer to no one, .. God help us all .. & that is someone they will answer to..
The committee holds the government to account by making those findings that you say are pointless.
How do you think we should make the Coalition accountable, then – within practical limits?
Put them all in stocks and flog them!!!
