Social landlords wet paper bags and welfare ‘reforms’

Last Updated: May 4, 2014By

Joe Halewood at SPeye wants to know why social landlords aren’t attacking the government’s attacks on their businesses. I’d like to know the answer to that as well.

What about children in care? When they have to leave aged 16years like I had to, where on earth would they be allowed to simply exist? Absolutely no thought was ever given to these “invisible” members of society!! This world disgusts me more every single day!!!

I am currently seeing if I can take the Social Services to court for negligence and endangerment for leaving me to, almost starve to death for the final 2 years that they should have been supporting me financially. Those two years have had a huge impact on my life since, not to mention my mental health getting much worse.
