Nurses may call strike if Government tries to cut pay as David Cameron vows to deliver ‘truly seven-day NHS’ plans – Health News – Health & Families – The Independent

Cameron really is a vile piece of work, isn’t he? Hunt also.

It seems they want to cut pay in order to fund a “seven-day NHS”. What happens then? People are put off nursing as a job, the number of nurses drops, the NHS fails to cope with rising demand for health services, the Tory government blames the failure on the service being public – and privatises it.

Well, we’ve seen through that one. This Writer’s willing to bet they try to do it anyway.

Nurses will take industrial action if the Government tries to cut pay to deliver its election promise of a “truly seven-day NHS”, the leader of Britain’s biggest nursing union has warned.

Well there you go then. Since this mendacious bunch of totalitarian nonentities have got into their fascist swing, they have bombarded us with their malevolent ambiguities; all within a matter of days.
Will the country be able to withstand another FIVE years of this blistering pace? How long before we make a stand and shout, “Enough is enough!”

It doesn’t really matter if they make strikes illegal – if enough people decide that an issue is important enough, and there needs to be a strike, then, legal or not, a strike will happen.

I just hope that it’s a real strike, and not one of these pathetic one day events that achieve nothing.

I don’t hold out much hope of anything radical coming from the TUC unions, as all they seem to be able to do is huff and puff, organise a few marches with speeches and then everyone goes home. Maybe if the rank and file membership became radical, and start acting in their own interests, which is what they need to do, then maybe they’ll make a difference.

Not happy with your union? Try the IWW – run by workers, for workers.

Unions HAVE to stay within the law or their funds will can be seized. a little gem brought about years ago by a previous TORY government. No matter What these T*RDS may say, they are NOT a party of the people.
