Zelo Street: Don’t Menschn Charlotte Church
In one of her tweets, mentioned in this Zelo Street article, Ms Church refers to ‘the uptight right’.
That’s going straight into This Blog’s lexicon. Thanks, Charlotte.
The HuffPostUK had what it clearly believed was a Twitter fight to report on yesterday – except that, when the story was given a little careful attention, it could be seen that it was not a fight after all, but a petulant outburst of trolling in a vain attempt at attention seeking. The one not taking part, singer Charlotte Church, maintained her dignity throughout. The one trolling, (thankfully) former Tory MP Louise Mensch, most certainly did not.

A couple of years ago I might have agreed with that failed MP’s views about Charlie but just recently I’ve done a complete U-Turn, hell I wouldn’t mind Charlie as a daughter-in-law or even another daughter as both mine tend to share her views, though not quite so far left as their old dad, my youngest daughters first words were “Maggie, Maggie, Maggie, Out! Out! Out! So the story was apocryphal but not far off though!
Nice one Charlotte! I do not know this Mensch person, is she a replacement for Fester McVile? She certainly seems to have the Right personality!
She’s a former MP – she quit halfway through the Coalition Parliament because she was rubbish. ;-)
Charlotte Church? What a girl! Calm, eloquent, and she hits the spot every time. Go get ’em Charlie
