Thieves break into food bank and steal Christmas presents for underprivileged children

Last Updated: December 9, 2015By

In addition to the theft, the food bank was closed for two days.

Thieves have been branded as “horrendous, callous and cruel” after they stole Christmas presents destined for underprivileged children from a foodbank.

Raiders broke in to the West End Foodbank Centre in Benwell, Tyneside, in Monday night and took wrapped up presents which were earmarked for youngsters who otherwise may not get anything else this year.

It is believed the men used a hammer and chisel to break into the building, the Newcastle Evening Chronicle reported.

Albeit evil this is the type of society this evil government are creating and it can only get worse. When people are so desperate they will go to any lengths to survive.

We are fed propaganda via the media telling us the crime rate has fallen. More bull from the Tories, if one reads many of the local newspapers just like the Newcastle Chronicle for example one can read just how bad things are amongst many communities around the UK.

That’s what this Govt have done to this country. Food banks would not be there to be robbed if we lived in a more equal society. Still, the evil people that did this are the lowest form of life and I hope they are publicly humiliated

Horrible, but a thought; the thieves might be under-privileged themselves, and may have kids they need to buy presents for for Christmas and can’t afford them. Doesn’t justify this of course, but it wouldn’t actually be evil.

There maybe some truth in what you write.
On reading the article for the fist time I was immediately; and forcefully, reminded of the attitude of the hero/anti-hero of the novel ” A Clockwork Orange “.
