The fact is, this kind of joke only works if the material is accurate; we laugh because it’s funny and we laugh because it’s true.
How many supporters of Jeremy Corbyn have you seen blaming anything on “the working class not appreciating the wonders of New, New Labour” or “the CIA”, for goodness’ sake?
If this anti-Corbyn wishlist is the worst that will come his way, This Writer will be very surprised.
As a first attempt it is a failure because, in the current political climate, those who mock Corbyn are laughing at the expense of the whole of the United Kingdom.
How many Corbynettes does it take to replace a light bulb?
One. One to give the light bulb a talking to about how Jeremy won 59.5% (of 76.3% of a selectorate) so the bulb cannot be broken!!!
And, anyway, if the bulb is broken then it has to be the fault of neo-liberalism; the Tory Party; the mainstream media; Blair; the EU; Brown; Corbyn being insufficiently left wing; the working class not appreciating the wonders of New, New Labour; the CIA …
