These placards, showing what people REALLY think of the Tories, deserve to be celebrated

The British people really outdid themselves at the London demonstration against austerity this weekend.

They created thousands of personalised placards, each one lovingly crafted to declare their individual reasons for hating austerity and the Tories who have imposed it while lining their own pockets.

Then somebody took a photograph of them at the event, and those photos came to This Writer. Let’s save them for posterity.

(Warning: Some of these images contain very spicy language.)

very sad day indeed mike especially from someone like myself retired from the bank of england

it’s very tragic to even think that today David Cameron has stooped so low in his life that he feels the need to show us the public his tax return because of his poor family’s judgement

i do get to go to all of the banks functions if i’m well enough and will ask the governor on his views which i’m sure will be the same as mine we normally have our next function which is governors day in July at Roehampton, …

we know tories and labour are no longer comparable and are not seen as singing from the same book.
Tunes may be similar but mindsets and beliefs are very different. there is a vast chasm between the two.
red tories have no power and must be aware their days are numbered. good riddance hope they fall off the gravy train soon.

The two that stick out for me “I’d rather be a low achiever than a Tory”, and “Sam Cam, you’re not the only one being screwed by Dodgy Dave”. Brilliant stuff! And hats off to them for coming up with the idea.
